It states that the motor is 115 volts AC, 1 amp (max. Watts' is not indicated). The Volt, Amp, to Watt Calculator I found on the web shows 115 watts. The following Motor #4008 is for your information 171 - 174 The E65 code. There's a little motor there that's quite powerful.
If you want to use it for potable water, I suppose you could, but it is typically used for culinary uses, so make sure it is clearly labeled and understood that it won't be useful.
The only drawback is that it is instant-on, so it does not come on unless there's a loss of pressure

I read the installation guide and it says the installation can only be carried out intermittently. Can this be done? This is something the purchaser needs to know, don't you think? We cannot use it for our purposes and it is a waste.
They should be ashamed of themselves for not listing that. What a horrible feeling to be I was disgusted to find that it overheated in 45 minutes and had to be shut down.
What needs to be known is that I would like to provide water to an RV, using 300 feet of hose with a rise of about 30 feet. We called Shurflo tech support 3 times to obtain information on what is It would be better if the RV faucet's pressure switch was installed so that the pump would automatically run when the faucet is turned on. There had to also be a check valve to keep any potential backflow from happening. These are the features of this model. After contacting tech support, I learned the amount of backflow downhill to the pump is no more than 20 milliliters per minute The pressure index. As a result, I mounted the pump 34 of the way up the hill to see Thank you for your help. Please be aware that the instructions say that heat output can be 250 F / 120 C, so avoid confined spaces and do not use plastic around the unit.
I held a conversation with the Shurflo tech support representative, Peter, who told me what adapter I needed for this 3/4-inch HE WAS WRONG, and the part was a waste. In the box were duplicates of the part. It was not necessary to use these. With these following ACE hardware part numbers, your standard hose will be able to connect in and out. The part number 70544 is 3/4" female hose threaded onto 1/2" female pipe threaded. A Teflon pipe thread tape may be used on some pipes threaded with 3/4" female hose thread and 3/4" female pipe thread. Part # 71939 has 3/4" female hose thread by 3/4" female pipe thread. Unless I am mistaken, the total cost was about $12 and change. To install it, you will also need to purchase a standard 3 prong male electrical plug as the wires are raw. There are only three, Green, Black, and White. It seems to be 16 gauge. We have just had the pump intermittently running for the last 2 days, and so far there are no troubles.
We've been using this pump for a little more than a year now, for various water systems, including those with and without pressure tanks, and it has served us well. Some more were bought to use for a few new systems. Since I have used these quite a bit, I recommend that you use a pressure tank unless you are using this in large volume in which case it would be There is no problem with flow rates lower than 3gpm.
Pump that can handle potable water well The quiet of the forest The installation process is simple. This pump can be used with potable water, even though it is not stated in the description. As a result, drinking water can be obtained from it. Pumps that are not certified for use with potable water should not be used in any installation where the water is intended to be consumed or for To keep the pump from becoming damaged, I attached it to a heavy electric cord and heat shrunk the metal parts to keep the moisture and corrosion out of the line. Despite being very quiet, the pump is as quiet as it should be. The pump and tank were engineered to work with a 1x4 frame for a friend's concession trailer, and it works great. As this pump can be used for drinking water or commercial purposes where the water is consumed, it is considered a potable water pump. To ensure that potable water is used for any application intended for consumption, it is very important to use a water pump intended for potable use. This is how the self-discovery process works The pump's priming capability was excellent, since I was able to turn it on, drop a hose into the water tank, and water began to flow shortly after. After using the pump for several days, I let it run completely dry and it worked fine. Pressure sensors on the pump shut it off when it begins to encounter an insufficient amount of In the instructions, it is recommended that water not be pumped above the pump level by more than six feet. I have bought two pumps in the past few years. Pumps of this type are very reliable and, if they are used for the purpose intended, they will be of good use to you. The installation is a breeze, and I use this device to provide water to my house that does not have a connection to the public water system. Having spent $500 or more on a pressure tank and a large pump for a couple of years only to have it fail was getting a bit tedious. It is definitely a product I would recommend as long as you don't expect it to pump more than it was designed to do.
During the replacement of my RO system, I used this pump. In order to connect the R/O faucet and ice maker, I used the existing water lines. Now I use the Shurflo to pump water from a 5 gal water bottle into my kitchen faucet and ice maker from the R/O system I had in the garage. By using a reverse osmosis system, I no longer have to waste water that would otherwise go down the drain. My wife also likes the taste because the water is filtered. The cost might be greater and I have to replace the bottle every few days, but I am more happy with the quality of my life with my wife.
I also no longer have to service my RO every six It is a well-known fact that the water here is unhealthy. It couldn't take the place of bottled water, even with a water softener and RO system. It is working flawlessly, lifting water above the attic approximately 8 feet and down to the faucets approximately 40 feet from where the Shurflo is installed.
It doesn't need you to purchase additional power adapters. It failed when I tried to run the Triton 10L water heater without this pump. A wonderful little pump that draws only 1 amp and uses an internal flow switch that can turn it on and off according to what you need it for. This product is exactly what I need to take showers and do laundry since I live off the grid.
The following should be substituted for "ft), House built on a grid. I really like that this unit works well, is not super loud, and is really The majority of my hours are between 9 & 10 One pump can be used for 12 months.
