Yes, I am. There is a limit, however, to A finer thread is used on the fittings in the transmission. It is possible to remove the o-rings on the transmission side If you notice a leak there as well, you can 'rebuild' the seals.
The Chrysler Corporation did use this type of fitting for some products. It should be noted, however, that there were more than a dozen transmission models produced by Dodge in 2007. It would be helpful to have more information.
I regret to inform you that they won't. Fittings such as these have a 'pipe thread' that are suitable for the radiator. You need a finer thread to operate your Hydromatic trans. The fittings for the transaxles are also difficult to locate. Still, there is some good news. A pick and some warm water is all you need to rebuild your trans fittings. You can remove them from the trans, pull the o ring from the fitting, and then install a new No problems at all. Since the trans fittings are so hard to find, I do this on a regular basis at my shop.
There is no Ford vehicle that I am aware of that this item will fit. Fords from the past had cooler tubing that was a different diameter. Modern designs utilize a longer slip drive axle even though they utilize the same size tubing ( 5/16") This is a good fit.

A 2002 Chevy Venture had 3 different types of these on it. The radiators on 2 of the cars had the same number, the transmissions on 2 had the same number, and 1 had the check- engine light No action was taken at valve 1. My vehicle has four radiators, only the top radiator has survived after 20 years of service. These have not been able to be re-used. As rings age, they also follow up to corrosion in the lines, so if that corrosion occurred, its likely to follow up to the rings It is possible that they may not handle a cooling line swap even though they are not leaking now. Were you also not willing to take that chance and have a pressure leak in my vehicle while driving long distances? There is no problem with the price.
I am astounded! The little fitting I used to fix my leaky transmission cooler line on my 2008 Chevrolet Impala was all I needed. As soon as I discovered that the actual clip holding the hose in the fitting had to be removed with a very small screwdriver, I was able to get it out! need to remove the bracket holding the transmission cable in place before you can unbolt it. From the fitting, follow the line a few feet to the front of the engine and you'll see a 13 mm bolt holding the bracket in place. With that loose, you can simply pull the plastic cover off the fitting, pop the clip out with a very small screwdriver, and withdraw the hose from the fitting. You can then use a 19 mm socket to remove the old fitting. A small amount of transmission fluid is lost, but it doesn't matter much.
It says this part is incompatible with this particular vehicle on Amazon, but it is. Having not been able to locate this part anywhere else and judging by the picture, I understood it was the same one that was on the vehicle, so I decided to order it. My whole family is glad I got it because it fits, is actually better than the original part, and it prevents leaks. These make up the connection between the transmission cooler lines and the radiator located on the bottom of the In case of leaks where the lines go into these fittings, this part is the perfect remedy. There is a small amount of transmission fluid you will lose, but it is a very simple and quick task.
This will fit the 2007 Impala perfectly. Installation is simple, but when you reinstall it, be sure to use Teflon tape I have inserted.
My dads 2007 Chevy Impala had some leaky transmission lines, so we installed this to fix them. His comment was that it was not exactly the same length as the existing leaking one, but otherwise it seemed to work fine. Amazon said it was not the proper fit for the vehicle but it is the correct part for the other leaky fitting right next to it 24236555.
Ensure that you are using the same fittings that the manufacturer is using when they build the vehicle. With ACDelco, you can be confident in quality.
Thank you so much guys. This was the perfect replacement for the old one that caused oil leaks.
It is not possible to use the long or the short interchangeably. In the event that you buy the wrong one, the two o rings can be easily swapped. It is possible to bypass the cooling path by using a short pipe instead of a long one.
