I used Gates' products on my 1999 and they don't disappoint. The number of seven is five. A Ford OEM 6 powered by a 3/8L powerstroke will become a 1/2 barbed fitting once it's converted to a 1/2 barbed. The transmission cooler has a temperature of 0 degrees. Although these lines are highly recommended, nobody in my area carries them!.

I used it to replace a leaking power steering hose in the power steering reservoir line on my BMW E36. The Gates cooler line was just the right width for the job. I also used a new set of hose clamps (Precision Brand M6S Micro Seal, provided the perfect answer.
