Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me how much pressure the fluid line can handle?

As described in the technical specifications, the burst pressure must be 300 pounds per square inch.

Can I use this oil transmion cooler for my 2014 Cadillac SRX?

You can use it for that if it's the right size. I used one for a Dodge Caravan.

Would this hose allow me to use the existing metal tubing on my 1995 F150?

Yes, if it is a nonflared end, it will slide over the metal tranny line easily, and if it is a flared end, you will need to apply tranny fluid and force it to work. It is always a good idea to double clamp both sides New clamps should be used. The seam is sealed under pressure, so it won't come away.

What does this do to replace my metal transmission cooler line in a 98 Mustang V6?

There is no way to tell. Setting up your "My Garage" on Amazon and adding your car to it is the best way to check. The kit will tell you whether or not it will fit your car when you check a part for fitment. In my garage, I've never had a problem with any of the parts I've ordered.

Selected User Reviews For Four Seasons 53015 Transmission Oil Cooler Hose, 54-Inch

We do not recommend you purchase this hose, as it will not accomplish the task it is supposed to! During the first trip around the block after I installed the transmission cooler hose on my 2005 Buick Rainier, the hose burst open and drained all the transmission fluid before I noticed Longitudinal cracks in the hose meant that it split open
3/5

There is no transmission on my car at the moment. I am grateful you offered such a cheap product at such a high price! As well as the hose that got split open, I have all my receipts, as well as the remains of what I didn't There will be photos of all the damage taken by me.

This is a very nice You should be aware of how tight this can be on 11/32 fittings! It turned out that the hose for my Toyota Sienna was not right, even though the hose was specified at 11/32" ATF inner diameter
5/5

The radiator fittings felt like they would have broken off if I'd tried to remove them. In my van, even with ATF to lubricate the hose, it is just a total nightmare to connect to the 11/32 hose. Rather than use my 3/8" ID ATF hose, I went with a slightly wider 3/8" ID ATF hose, which was a lot tighter, but actually proved easier to attach. Toyota ATF hoses are usually replaced with 3/8 hoses and nice clamps, so we usually just replace the hose with 3/8 and call it good. There are no leaks on my Toyota pickup (3/8, called for 11/32). It has been over 100,000 miles without any problems. The outside diameter and thickness of the hose clamp seem to match OEM specifications and it seems the product is of good quality.

You will have a difficult time finding this size at a local parts store
5/5

Is very good at what it does. In reality, the hose in the box comes from Hayden. In the past, I had installed an external transmission cooler in the 2008 Toyota 4runner, but more recently, when I changed the radiator, I wanted to re-plumb the power column. It turns out that there are not a lot of local parts stores that carry this size of line in my area.

This is excellent
5/5

I discovered a leak in the lower tranny cooler line when it became rusted. By cutting out the bad section and connecting it with two hose clamps, I repaired the issue. It was easy to use and really worked. The first time I tried to fix it, I used a rubber fuel line hose I had in my toolbox but it burst. Strong and reliable, this hose is ideal for outdoor use.

Identify the cause of transmission leaks
5/5

Following a number of problems with my PT Cruiser and leaking transmission fluid while driving, I decided to replace the cooler hose that connected it to the cooler. My transmission line has not burst as it did four other times before I replaced it, and I am so happy that I have not had transmission fluid drip on me during the entire week. The quality of the hose is better than what came with My PT Crusier's cooler hose was cracked, so I replaced it with this product. If anyone has problems with its transmission, I recommend checking the cooler hose and replacing it.

It should be of the right size An appropriate type for the 2002 Camry of the ATF
5/5

This fit for the Toyota Camry 2002 is perfect. I do not anticipate any problems with installation, but this is the right size and type of rubber for ATF (automatic transmission fluid) systems. It is also the same size and type of rubber that is used for the low pressure return side of the power steering fluid. The reservoir is going to be visited.

This is a hose for the E40D trans cooler on the F250
5/5

On my 1994 F250 IDIT with an E40D transmission, I used this hose as a trans cooler hose. This is just the right size. From the pump to the radiator cooler then to the aux cooler and finally to the transmission. Two orders were placed and just enough was left.

The best hose on the market
5/5

The hose was a replacement for one purchased at a local auto parts store that was like new. There is nothing wrong with it. It is thick, well made, and fits without problem. Compared to the other one, the thickness was thin and kept falling off due to its It was an excellent deal that saved us a lot of time and headaches.
