Questions & Answers

Can this be installed on a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country?

It is unlikely. Chrysler vehicles probably would not be able to use this GM part.

What is the state of the locking clip that is ?

I received my order exactly as shown in the picture.

How large are the threads and what is their ?

Fit and precision to the last detail

Do you know whether it fits 4t65e since it says it does not?

My knowledge of the subject is limited. The part you need can be found by looking up your vehicle on the AC Delco parts website or by contacting GM. A 2008 Chevy Impala 3 was compatible with this part. There were two leaks in the old fittings on the 5 that I worked on. had to replace both fittings, which were found near the bottom of my transmission and had different part numbers.

The 2008 Chevrolet Impala I worked on
5/5

During the installation of my 2008 Chevrolet Impala, the kit was very simple to install. need to remove the bracket holding the transmission cable in place before you can unbolt it. From the fitting, follow the line a few feet to the front of the engine and you'll see a 13 mm bolt holding the bracket in place. You can just remove the plastic cover from the fitting by pulling it, then use a very small screwdriver to push out the clip that is holding the line in the fitting, then pull the line out, and then you can remove the fitting by using a 19 mm socket. There is a new clip that goes with the new fitting. As you can see in the photo, the yellow piece showing in the fitting is just a plastic protector which you have to remove.

We were able to fix the issue and the process was pretty straightforward
5/5

There was a serious leak in the transmission, which made me nervous. We were able to fix the issue and the process was pretty straightforward. There were at least twice as many threads on the original fitting as there are on I kept turning and turning when I was taking the old one off, and something seemed to be The old one needs to be spun until the last thread is reached. Possibly you will have to move the transmission cooler line so that it does not interfere with transmission operation. For this, you will first need to remove a bolt from the cooler line support bracket, and then it will unsnap easily. While this new one has fewer threads, it still fit and worked properly and was easier to install because of it.

The fittings are perfect! Buying this product was a very good experience for me
5/5

The transmission leak was coming from my fittings on the bottom of my transmission, and I was very careful about parts, especially aftermarket parts, so I checked the part numbers from AC Delco, and was able to find them on Amazon for a fraction of the price the dealer wanted. The transmission line connectors were perfect. They were both oiled and had new internal and external seals The new rings and the new C-rings You can clip. It took only a few seconds to fix my transmission leak. I dipped them in some transmission fluid and screwed them in. It only cost me 17 dollars to get these fittings and the other one as well. You'll be glad you did!.
