How does each wire connect to the other? In this switch there are only 1 and 2, and 3 buttons. I have g, st, and b on my original switch. ?

My #1 wire is hot, which means a voltage of 12 VDC from my battery (Red wire on my), #2 is my running position (Black wire on mine), and #3 is my starting position (Y/R wire on mine).

Are there 2 positions on this switch—one for start and one for reverse?

What is the process for getting the old ignition out of my car and replacing it with the new one?

The ignition should have an outer ring, unscrew it and it should pull right out of the engine.

The ignition works perfectly for my kart

The factory ignition is horrible. I'm very happy with the product. The chances are pretty good that you'll need one of these whenever you have difficulty keeping it running. Despite the fact that it does not label which wire goes where, it is still not ideal. As a result, we had to guess our way through. The solution is simple, but not hard to understand.

Exactly what I wanted. There are no markings on them as there were on the original switch, so you have to figure out the configuration. Neither the seller nor the buyer are negatively affected by this.

THERE SHOULD BE INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHICH WIRE IS TO BE PLUG IN

This should have had clear instructions on which wires go on which wires, 1, 2 and A PERSON WHO IS ON ITS FIFTH fuse and does not have many more fuse options he should have nine different paths, but which one?.

All was well after the wires were connected

I had to attach wire terminals to the box. As far as wiring goes, it went just fine. I had to hook wire terminals up to my wiring harness to connect it to the starter.

It holds up great for my Hammerhead go cart

The only problem it has is it does not have the small notch needed to keep the whole thing from spinning, so I have to retighten it every now and then.
