I replaced my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS 2 with a good OEM part, and it works perfect.
I received my car faster than expected and the quality of the ignition knob was as good as the one that came with my car. The sentence ends. This part worked perfectly on my Mitsubishi Outlander, and since it's so inexpensive, I'll be buying another one if I ever need one again. There is no doubt in my mind that I will recommend it to others.
Initially, I wasn't sure if it would require any installation, but no, it just clipped right on to the base and key slot on the steering column and worked I think a parking lot valet snapped the original off the column and it would not stay in place. In addition to working like the original, this cap looks great as well.
There is a 2009 Outlander in my possession. The knob on the steering wheel broke, but I've had no other issues with it since I've had it for 137,855 miles. It arrived on Wednesday after I reported it to be broken on Sunday. I definitely liked the thicker plastic over the original, so I was able to start my car without any hassle. In addition, the shipping time was less than two weeks and the price was excellent. I would strongly recommend it.
My switch on my 2011 Outlander cracked, usually causing it to wobble or even fall off. I replaced this myself and it's been great. A nice little fix that cost nothing.
I had a hard time installing, it's flimsy, and it doesn't fit my key or ignition also, it seems overpriced.
This replacement part fits my car perfectly and is a great replacement for the original broken part.
Although I did not check, I suspect the price was cheaper through Mitsubishi. You probably don't expect the ignition of your car to pop off every now and then. Below the plastic of the original, it got mashed up. I am extremely satisfied with this replacement.
