In short, yes

A complete set of instructions is included with the kit so you can key the lock to your key fob. It is important to read and follow them carefully. I completed it in less than an hour for the first time, and I did it by following a simple instruction.

Apparently, the search filter for Amazon's parts application finds it to fit your 2008 Ford Escape

To be on the safe side, contact your local Ford parts department. It's a Ford/Motorcraft kit and it's very easy to install.

The replacement for the Ford Focus ZX3 from 2002
5/5

I don't understand what you are saying It's an uncommon problem for my 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 to have the ignition switch jammed. Using this kit, we can use the key we have. If you use an alternative kit, you'll receive a new key, but you will then have to reprogram your vehicle's security system to recognize the chip in your new key, and you will have different keys for the doors and the With this kit, you have much less to deal with. You can find videos explaining how to do this on YouTube. You can use the hammer to strike the key a few times once it is in the ignition. There may be enough room to turn if it's loosen up enough. I'll describe how this works next. The pins that you need to put into the cylinder must match the pattern on your key. For this purpose, you could visit your dealer's office for a handy chart they would be able to check your key up on to learn the correct pins. It can be figured out with trial and error, though. The first slot should be occupied by a #1 pin without any springs. You will need to insert your key and make sure the cylinder is What you see is now the top of the cylinder the pin should be flush with it. If you need a demonstration, go to YouTube. Those on Amazon tend to be less than $10, and I think that would be worth the money. The retaining clip was spread using regular pliers since I didn't have a pair. This caused me to be without hands to line up the clip and the cylinder. In the end, I used about 20 minutes to try and get the clip on. At the end, my hand hurt terribly. It would be totally worth it to save you 19 out of those 20 minutes with $10. In terms of the product itself, I would say it is This cigarette lighter has been in my car almost 2 months now and I cannot be happier with it.

The quality of the product is excellent

A 2010 Ford Escape is now equipped with this ignition system. I assemble it much easier than expected and it resolves my problem as expected (had to jiggle the key excessively to get the engine to crank) Now I simply twist the key into the start position and bingo! The engine cranks into life. Never forget to use grease during assembly.

There is no more stuck ignition switch on my Ford Focus (3rd generation)
5/5

My old switch stopped working last week, and after getting it unstuck twice I decided I didn't want to take apart the thing, so I left it in the ignition, unhooked the battery, and ordered this one from Amazon, which arrived in a day. As such, I removed the old lock cylinder, which had been replaced by PO, after it was discovered that it was not an original I received it from motorcraft and it was easy for me to do. After I set the tumblers flat with the key in place, I took about 30 minutes to do the job, and it was really just like doing a puzzle. After that, it was time to grease it up, which I did, then it was time for the clip to be attached. I was so happy to get it! Once I got it, I slid it back into the key hole and it worked like a charm! No more stuck keys and no more problems turning it. My whole family uses it as it is so easy to fix yourself for just $72 I couldn't be more pleased!.

I had a hard time imagining how easy it was
5/5

My first thought was that it would be more difficult than it was. For this purpose, a digital caliper is very useful. Other than the lock ring pliers for the retaining clip, the only other tool that could have made assembly easier would have been a ring clip holder. Using vice grips, a flathead screwdriver, and another screwdriver as a fulcrum, I was able to accomplish my goal. It may be difficult to tell where the retaining clip goes by looking at the clip and its groove in the tail, but you can see where it goes by comparing the clip and the grooves in the tail. The stock market.

This is to replace the 2000-2001 product In my case, I began to experience problems with the vehicle and after carefully researching Google and Ford Focus sites, I learned There is a fix for this ignition cylinder and I would suggest that you replace it now, even if you have no problems
5/5

You never know when your key Waiting until then is not a good idea. Basically it is made of metal and will have to be drilled out to be removed. There is no simple or easy way to do this. However, it is quite simple to do this. In most cases, if your key still turns, it is fairly easy to remove it and replace All the tumblers you need are included in this kit, as well as lithium grease and detailed instructions on how to key the cylinder. YouTube has a video of it as well. I received the package the next day after it was shipped. It was a little bit more than what the dealership was going to charge, but overall I feel it was worth it. A price of close to $500 would have been required. With taxes included, the cost is $19. 00 CA. It was going to cost $165 just to buy the switch. Taxes are not included in the price. You can even save more if you're not in a rush. I did it for less and you can save even more if you're not. My recommendation is to upgrade to this new version. There should have been a Ford recall, this is clearly a faulty product.
