Is this going to work with a 23hp v-twin engine? Model cv674 twin kohler engine?

On a Kohler (KH-1) I installed one. 23) v- v- v- v- v- v- v- v It was a perfect fit for me as a twin. I'm not sure what model you have. Examine your starter's solenoid and back plate to see if they match the image.

Where did this come from - China?

I have no idea. However, it cost 66% less than I could get it for in my area and it has performed perfectly. I don't buy Chinese because I'm on social security and can't afford to pay three times as much to support an American business. Our American counterparts must lower their prices; I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING CHINESE.

It's a good price, and it appears to be well-made; we'll see how long it lasts

The starter arrived in a cardboard box that had been damaged during its long journey to my house, but it appeared to be in good working order and was a direct replacement for the original starter in a 2005 Cub Cadet 1554 with a 27HP Kohler Command engine. Installation was simple and I was able to resume mowing. The cost was less than $70, versus around $275 for an OEM one. So far, I'm happy with it.
