It was very easy to install. They offered to replace the unit under warranty when I spoke with the Air Lift tech line. However, I didn't believe that was the reason why the leak occurred. The replacement bag was received very quickly (like within a couple days), and I live in one of the most rural parts The change out started at 445pm after I had dreaded being out in the cold on the drive to do it. I then got out my jacks and tools to do the job at 19 pm. By 5 p. m. , I had finished the job with only 2 sockets, a crescent wrench, and a pair of pliers. With all the tools put away, the new bag installed, the pick up aired up and driven home, the job was finished by 27 pm. I was on the phone for 68 minutes according to my phone log while on the road and when I made the call back while driving out of the parking lot. Keep in mind that this all happened on the driveway at home on a 29 degree day with the factory jack got out of its compartment and returned completely. We are so grateful to Air Lift for making the process so straightforward.

It is intended to replace an old 9-volt On my truck, an air bag that was more than a year old failed (they always say to maintain at least 10 psi at all times). The product arrived quickly, and I was glad to assume I would be able to get just the air bag without having to purchase As you know, the bolt through the bottom of the old bag had seized, so getting it out was a hassle. To remove the existing bag from the bracket, I used a grinder and removed the bracket from the leaf spring so I could reinstall the bag It's free for the asking. In spite of ten years of production, the new bag was a replacement for the original. I am speaking of the same thing. The complete project took roughly two hours. That includes replacing the air line as well.
