Questions & Answers

The basic kit does not require an air compressor, does it? Do you have the option of manually airing the bags when they are necessary?

For the bags to be filled with air, you need air. It would be possible to use a bicycle pump instead of a ryobi portable air compressor. Taking longer is simply a result of the process being

I have a 6" lift on my F159, can the air springs be used?

You're right, they'll fit just fine. Since air springs go between the frame and the tops of the leaf springs, whether the truck is lifted or not, the distance is the same

Using these bags with a 1 is possible. What does the 5' lowering shackles on our 2018 F150 mean?

With a lowered application, we have fitment for that kit. Our lowered kits are similar to those we have, but we need more information in order to determine if they

Selected User Reviews For Air Lift 59570 Ride Control

My purchase has been a great success! The Air Lift 59570 Ride Control is great for what it is intended for, so I decided to wait to write this review up until I had used it Travel trailers pulled by a tractor have good stability
5/5

I gave myself an F for 2015 In my 1/2 ton truck, I need some extra stability since the 150 Ecoboost is designed to pull a lot of weight. As a result of their high ratings and their excellent warranty, I chose Air Lift after much research. The decision I made is the right one for me! In towing my travel trailer a few days ago, I experienced some rough roads and was impressed with the smooth ride. It's one thing to handle those bumps in your pickup truck alone compared to pulling a trailer I have no doubt there was a little bounce in the rig, but all in all, both the truck and trailer seemed very stable. A short time ago, I was pulling a trailer and truck back and forth along a small country road. As I was walking, I noticed a crossroads There was wind this time, but once again, the truck and trailer stay steady and the ride is It wouldn't be right if I did not recommend these air bags from Air Lift Suspension. This review is not compensated in any way, and I have no connection to the Air Lift company. I bought my bags from Amazon for the full price and am in no way affiliated with them. Wish you all the best in making your decision!.

For part-time camper pulling, this is a great option
5/5

It is also improved when the car is unloaded. It was a horrible ride when I installed the 5000 series first. We talked with Air Lift technical support and they said the 5000 series is intended for continuous use and recommended using My 2015 Ford F-250 was replaced with a 2000# ride control after I returned the 5000# one It can be 150 or any difference at night. The ride of a truck unloaded is better when the pressure is reduced to 5#. There is a cargo deck on the front of my camper, so I raised the tongue weight to 700#. To level the truck with adjustable air bags, I used the airbags.

After I started loading tools on to the , the ride got worse every day
5/5

It's no secret that I'm struggling to squat while driving a Ford F150. I carry the same load every day and facing the same issues every day. With every day that passed, it continued to get worse as I loaded tools on There is no way 150 class trucks are designed to carry much weight full time in my opinion. I installed these over the weekend and after driving the same truck for a few days, the difference is as obvious as day and night. With the wireless remote attached to the HD air compressor and set at 50 psig, it was also installed. The pressure is increased to 80 psig if I install the hit mounted carrier. Approximately one hour was required for the air lift kit to be assembled. During the installation, most of the time was spent on the wiring harness and compressor, while the lift kit took approximately three hours. In the same way as another reviewer, I dropped the spare tire and mounted the compressor on top of it. This location felt like the best choice to me. My minor issue with communication is resolved by moving the remote outside to be closer to the solenoids and it works fine. I attached the air kit directly to the battery with the enclosed fuse so it could run even without the truck running. Unfortunately, I did not want to break into the fuse box. I am glad to be able to drive the truck again since I installed this air lift kit. Whenever a truck is loaded, the progressive leaf springs destroy the ride. As well as the springs, there are helper springs. When my last truck had 'helper springs', it was a heavily loaded F250 and I had a terrible ride. When I was young, I would have loved to have known about the air lift kit. In case your truck has to carry weight or carries weight for any sufficient length of time, I highly recommend this kit.

I like them a lot! My previous phone was a 5000 series, but I switched to
5/5

The man is out of control. I like them a lot! was using the 5000 series but switched to these because the ride quality in the 5000 series was They turned out to be overkill for the 2017 Ford A practical solution like this would be much better. With my travel trailer towing, they disappear all sag and once the load is reduced, they aren't even noticeable without it when no load is present.

The grinding will be done on a 2019 F-type There was no problem using this product since it came with very detailed instructions
5/5

Even took the time to upload a video of my installation to A little grinding is required to remove the bump - The mount won't go up. Consequently, I had to take slightly longer than expected to complete the process. As a result, I had to wait for the paint to dry before I could repaint the iron. They do work well and don't have a lot of body roll when In both empty and 5psi conditions, I do not notice any difference in stiffness. As I had hoped, I got what I wanted. Even when the air pressure is set to 5 psi, the 5000-pound bags make the ride much stiffer. I have an 1800-pound max payload on my truck, so the 5 thousand bags would be unnecessary. The pressure of my tires is increased using an air compressor, but you could use a bike pump if you would like. Basically the same as bike tires, except with sharader valves. Since the bags have such a low volume, it makes no sense to spend hundreds of dollars on an air pump built in. The installation of the first bag took 2 hours and the installation of the second 45 minutes. It took me more time to do the first video since I was narrating my installation.

It installs poorly with wheel well covers due to the absence of a part
3/5

My installation of the kit is now complete. In the first place, it was missing one u bolt nut and both serrated washers for the airbag tops. It was quite easy to locate the ubolt nut, but fortunately there were no serrated washers to be found. As a replacement, I found some standard lock washers, but I am not so sure how long they will last. Due to the fact that I drive my truck on a daily basis, I do not have time to wait for replacements. Typically, the brackets in the top of my wheel wells do not mesh well with my husky My liners and brackets refuse to line up if I put them on first. In any case, I had to put the liners back on before I could manhandle the top bracket in place. That is not an easy thing to do. It took more than four hours to complete an installation that was supposed to take no more than two hours. So far, I haven't tried it on the road, but will do so in a few days. It looks like it will hold up well.

My 2015 F150 is equipped with an air lift and works perfectly A T would be a nice addition to this kit
4/5

Quite simple to install, just take your time. Makes your life much easier if you have a friend to help you up. We tested it with 500 lbs and installed it within a couple of hours. There are a number of cargoes. The bed sagged by 1" with no air in it because of the cargo. 30 pounds of pressure was all it took to raise the bed back to factory height, and the ride was fine. Once I hitch up the toy hauler (10k lbs GVWR), I will post an update. It should come with a T, but so far I haven't found anything incorrect with the kit. It is hard to imagine why you would need two independent air lines (without an onboard compressor). A simple fix is available This method of loading was easier, but took extra time and cost. There is no more squatting under a load while trailering now all that's left is to test the system with a heavier load/trailer. I'm impressed with what I've seen thus.
