It won't matter if the radius cut isn't perfect because you'll be able to fill in the gaps.
It was perfect for my needs.
To seal the bungs, they must be welded to the pipe all the way around. You'll need to have your pipes/bungs TIG welded if they're stainless steel.

Finally, a product that is worth its weight in gold; it appears that nothing you buy actually fits the component it is supposed to work with, and yet these simple little bungs can be incredibly difficult for a shop to make the curvature fit its workpiece. Anyway, this company got the arc just right and it fits like a glove, it's of great quality, and I'm pleased with it. This may seem insignificant, but even though this item is self-explanatory, I believe there should be some sort of direction(s) as to how to complete this task. But, hey, I'm not an expert.
On a serious note, I'm a welder by trade and had no trouble rigging them to the exhaust I built for my truck after cleaning the protective oils off.
These o2 sensor bungs are designed to be welded into aftermarket exhaust to provide a mounting location for an o2 sensor. Simply drill a hole and affix these to it with welding. If you're going to use anti-bacterial soap, make sure to use some anti-bacterial soap as well. If you're using plugs, keep a tight grip on them.
These were a good value, the radius was a little tight for most exhaust. I welded (MIG) just fine on my 2" steel pipe with a 5" diameter pipe, but I would leave the plug in to keep the threads clean.
With my angle grinder, I had to shape a little for a 3" down pipe, but it was no big deal! Also, only weld a small amount at a time to avoid frying it!.
