If the plugs fit into an existing bung, then they should be fine. My car now has a few unused bungs that are filled by using these plugs.

Approximately 7/8" of a hole was made, if I remember. It is not on the weld side, it is on the step area. It is the area where the O2 sensor or plug diameter of the step is the same as the diameter of the

The stainless bung was made of high quality material as described. It was not threaded at all when it was shipped to me. In the end, my friend who has the right tap was able to correct this issue, however it took much more time than expected for a simple project. As far as the reviews that mention 90 degree threads go, I believe that this is not correct. After checking the level of the sensor, I used a grinder with a new wheel to match the face of the bung with the mating surface.
Regardless of how inexpensive a bung is, I am not interested. As a result, I have damaged the part I welded this to AND I do not have the whole functioning part I needed as soon as possible.
Something was skewed because one side of the bung face had a gap where the plug should have been mating. As soon as the threads are examined, it was discovered that they are not 90* to the face. This could lead to an exhaust leak if your crush washer does not fill up the gap, so be sure to check before welding or try another brand.
A lot of the zinc-plated stuff I weld I'd rather not weld. Within a couple days, I will see how my wideband 02 fits. In the event that any concerns arise, I will update my.

I hope it doesn't leak
you should buy the more expensive bungs if you want a perfect fit. The slight imperfections in these shoes won't matter to you, so purchase them. So far, I have not welded them in, so I'll update this review once I've done so.
It should be all right with the bung, I just hope the plug can be removed when I put in the sensor later since it does not look For TIG, you need to take it to a pro.
Exactly what do you want Prepare the 7/8" hole by drilling a hole 7/8" deep. The stepped bung can be dropped in right away. It needs to be welded The sensor needs to be installed. In my case, I cut my thread straight.
I like the way it is Despite being not as tight as they should be. You can also use this drain plug as an alternative to a 02 sensor if you get crazy and want to go wild.
