Is there an alignment tool included with this?

To ensure the integrity of the new device, mark the orientation of the existing synchronizer before it is removed from the system. During the installation of this part, we got as close as we could to the original alignment and were fortunate that Due to several reasons, including wear, the alignment was not perfect. It is possible to mark the orientation with a plastic guide, but that should yield little benefit without marking the orientation. The fact that it worked perfectly brought a sigh of relief to us. Can this be plugged in and played? Are you aware that the camshaft sensor is wrapped with tape stating "void if tampered"?

I was able to plug it into my 2000 3 without any issues. The Ranger comes with a 3.0L V6 engine.

Is there a need for various size sockets?

Two bolts at the top and one bolt closer to the firewall have a length of five mm and ten millimeters, respectively.

A chirping sound can no longer be heard from the old synchronizer. A version of 2004 v6 is available for download. This part fits an exact Ford Ranger model of any year.
