Questions & Answers

Is this part compatible with a 2004 6? 0L F250?

Yes, I installed it on my 2004 Ford F-350 6th generation.

What kind of warranty does this part come with? I purchased one on December 3rd, 2017, and it failed over the weekend of March 27th, 2018. It has an ohm reading of 804 on the meter. ?

I'm not sure what it should be reading, but I had to replace the connector as well because the new sensor appeared to be defective. One of the reasons I buy from Amazon is that they don't ask any questions when returning a part; however, I hope that if you do return it, the new one was truly awful, so you don't feel bad about returning a good part.

My truck now runs like new thanks to an excellent OEM part
5/5

This sensor was installed in my Ford Econoline 350 van, which has a 6. Diesel engine with no turbo. In order to diagnose this, I used the forscan software and an obdlink wire connected to my laptop. Instead of going to the dealer, I highly recommend this setup. There was no cam and crank synchronization in the software, and a pending code for the cam sensor was displayed. This information would not be visible on other code scanners. When I plug in the sensor, the truck starts right up. The key to this repair is the proper diagnostic tools, which were much easier to install than some others online led me to believe. Otherwise, you're just guessing and putting things together.

Purchased for a 2004 F250 with a 6 liter engine, this is a genuine Motorcraft part
5/5

The truck had no codes, but it refused to start and continued to crank. It had to be scanned, and the Cam Position Sensor had no Sync indicated. It took me about 5 minutes to replace this after I bought it. The truck began to move immediately. The item was delivered in a sealed Motorcraft box. It is unlikely that the system will need to be replaced for another 15 years.

It accomplishes the task at hand
5/5

After a period of non-use, I experienced a no-start problem. work related to the FICM, such as inspecting it The RPMs moved while cranking, indicating that the crank sensor was working, but there was no FICM sync. This is a lot less expensive than a FICM, so get it first!.

The price is unbeatable, and it comes with OEM quality and a motorcraft package
5/5

A camshaft position code popped up on my 2007 E350. And it's idling rough now that I've replaced both the cam and the crank at the same time, the engine idles like a dream. I noticed a difference in throttle response and was able to restore my 19 mpg fuel mileage.
