It is true. On both the right and left sides, the same sensor is used.
Neither the position sensor nor the anti-theft device worked on my 2006 King Ranch5. The 4th letter. While the plugs on the plugs I used were flat, the plugs on the plugs they used were rounded. My return address is on the back of them.

A sensor converts a physical parameter to an electrical output, while an actuator represents the physical output of an electrical signal.
It has a 4L V8 engine. The Motorcraft Cam Position Sensor is an OEM-approved part, which means it's the best part to use when you have a Cam Position Sensor error on your 06 F150/ F250 (or a similar model). In the middle of a long drive, my F250 began to lose power and sound like a popcorn machine, only to run smoothly after restarting it. The Check Engine OBD2 P0340 error code indicated exactly what was wrong. In the car, I substituted a Duralast from an auto parts store for the dysfunctional part. Even though I had no problems with the other one, I chose this one, since I figured it would probably go bad soon too. The Triton 5 is equipped with these sensors at the front. It is very easy to reach when the hood is open, and there is nothing blocking your path. Then you remove the screw and disconnect the connector and carefully wiggle it out so you can insert the new one and reconnect it again. I only needed a few minutes to complete the task There are a few simple repairs you can do.
I have no other words to describe it. "Both sides" literally took me 2 minutes and 15 seconds to install. You heard me right. . . I timed myself. During a short drive around the 45 MPH range, I felt my car buck, but my CEL did not come on. . . . The coils and spark plugs were brand new so that ruled out the ignition coil and spark plug. As soon as I saw the CEL flicker, I turned off the truck. A bad VCT solenoid may have caused a delay in timing in a recent timing job. Unless I cannot figure out what is wrong with my truck, I rarely take it in for service. My mechanic told me that he saw the same pending code and I mentioned that I thought it might be the Cam Pos I told him to bring it back and he could insert another one. In response, I asked him how much, and he said X amount of dollars. . . I told him that I could buy them much cheaper myself, and have them put Laughing, he said if you can get them for that much, you are in business and I sounded like I knew what I was talking about. . .
The moral to the story is buy these even if you aren't The units are SUPER easy to install and I wish that I would have done the maintenance upkeep sooner.
A good price can be found here.
I bought this to go with my FX4 5 in 2007. A voltage of 4 3v is needed to fix the camshaft sensor error My issue was primarily with the timing, but my old sensor was worn down because the timing chain rubbed against it, so it was bad on its own. I replaced it with this one and did the timing with no issues, great product and great price.
This Ford F-250 was manufactured in 2004 There is a possibility that your truck has a bad CPS if it shudders, shakes or hesitates when you press the gas pedal.
The check engine lite indicated a cam position sensor is malfunctioning. An engine was disassembled. My lawn mower man put the pieces back together with a socket wrench and an extension rod The case has been.
Resulted in success. However, it didn't solve my issue, but for the price, I was willing to give it a go.
