I'm not sure if it'll fit my 2001 Civic, but if it's the same engine, it might. They're pretty good at fitting parts to cars.

I changed it in less than 30 minutes after watching a quick youtube video on how to do it. And, while I'm not a car mechanic by any means, this was a fairly simple task. I didn't even need to remove the motor mount as the youtube video suggested. It's been on the car for about 3 days and hasn't given me any codes, so if you're having trouble with them, try this. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. Even with online promo codes for the same brand, Amazon has a significantly lower price than my local car parts store!.
My 2002 Honda Civic LX 1 had no problems with it. 7L. Perfect fit, looked exactly like the one it replaced, and worked without a hitch. This is the one near the bottom by the balancer, not the one in the middle of the timing belt case. I've had mine on for about a month now, and so far it's been great. I'll update if anything goes wrong, but so far it's been great.
The sensor is identical to OEM in terms of fit and performance. My 2004 Honda Civic LX 1's DTC camshaft position sensor problem has now been resolved. 7L. On a 2001 Civic LX, I was able to clear the P0340 trouble code. I was able to replace the valve cover gasket without removing it, and there were no leaks as a result.

There was an error code, but this fixed it. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
After running some tests, this code indicated that the Cam Position Sensor was bad, so I installed it and it fixed my problem. After installing the device, I followed the relearning sequence and have driven over 500 miles with no problems.
On a 2005 Honda Civic, it worked perfectly. It's also very simple to replace; if you're unsure, just Google it.
