What is the procedure for installing the camshft positionactuator in my Terrain ?

It's not possible for me to help you if you have the V6. I am sorry. 2. If you have it, please let me know. There are four cylinders in a four-cylinder car Rather than acting as an actuator, this part serves as a sensor. In the case of the actuator, a different part is needed. If the image you see is that part, then Turn your head to the right side of the engine while facing it and look for the air cleaner. A restrictive air intake should be visible, and you'll probably have to remove it. You will find the cam sensor under the cam cover on the far right side of the engine after you have cleared access to it. You'll need to find a wire that leads into You will see it coming into view from the side of the large You should be able to pull it out simply by cutting the sensor wire, removing the 10mm bolt, and unplugging the socket. After you locate the sensor, you should only need to spend about 10 minutes. Make sure that you do not overtighten the bolt when you install the new one, or else the mounting will be destroyed. It doesn't have to be as cozy as you think. The computer will be cleaned of all codes if you perform this action. In addition, your radio and any other power accessories will need to be re-programmed. You can use a computer scan tool to erase the codes if you have one. The price of a decent one is about $100. Thanks for reading. I hope you found it helpful.

It fits a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu 2 yes. ?

Listed on this page should be an option for checking another vehicle. It is as simple as entering your vehicle information and checking it. If it has the same engine as the 2006 chevy hhr, then yes, but given that it is significantly newer than the 2006 model, I would reserve my final judgment.

The Saturn Vue II I bought in 2009. A look at the code for 4 indicates a use of For the intake as well as the exhaust, does the same part number apply?

The two part numbers are different, but if you are getting the P0010 error code, it is your intake.

a sensor 12577245 is required for my chevrolet captiva sport 2 according to my mechanic in Brazil. The description does not mention item 4, but appears in the photo?

There is a part number 213- for AC Delco I imagine it will not fit the V6 models, as I see it fits four cylinder models.

This is the correct solution to a very knotty problem
5/5

It has made all the difference in my case. My car has had low engine performance and poor fuel economy for a year, as well as sporadic misfiring codes on cylinder #3. However, it always started and ran as if nothing was amiss, making no sense as to exactly what was going on. My thorough analysis of the issue led me to the following conclusions. Several attempts were made using different plugs and coils to try and change the condition in order to determine whether there was a problem with an ignition component. My plugs had already gotten a bit long in the tooth anyway, so I changed them as a matter of course. There has been no joy so far. I decided I would put all my efforts into getting to the bottom of this matter. A code for a misfire can be thrown without there being a fault in the ignition system when I have my OEM shop manual. As a result, I began to think about what else could be at play. In terms of cost and ease of replacement, the cam position sensor was the cheapest and easiest to replace. Of course, if the cam is not lined up with the rest of the machine, it won't operate properly. My performance, fuel economy, and error code problems have changed completely thanks to this software. Ultimately, if I had gone to the dealer, they would have sold me everything including the kitchen sink on the basis that I needed to replace all the plugs, coils, and sensors. As a result, I saved a boatload of cash and my car ended up where it was supposed to be. As far as I am concerned, it worked.

It fits well and works well. In case anyone is As a result, Bank1 is on the rear side of the head (exhaust side), and Bank2 is on the front side of the head (intake side). It is the same sensor for both banks. I resolved the issue of the check engine light and hard starting.

The Check Engine Light has been corrected
5/5

My granddaughter's 2008 Malibu came on with the Check Engine light on. Based on the scanner's result, the service advisor said the component was a cam sensor position sensor, which is not harmful. In an effort to see if it was just bad, I did some research on YouTube and decided that more than likely it was. Therefore, I ordered and installed a To replace the sensor, simply unplug the wire harness from the old one and install the new one (rub a little engine oil on the output shaft" ). Plug the harness back in and tighten.

The problem was easily resolved I simply removed the new sensor, wiped off the old one, then reinstalled it
3/5

There is nothing more frustrating than losing money on something that doesn't The old sensor was nasty, so I removed it, cleaned up the connections, installed the new one, and connected the battery. It then started running as if by magic. After various kinds of check engine lights I finally got to the point where it wouldn't even start. I simply removed the new sensor, wiped the old one off, and reinstalled it. I don't like wasting money on things that aren't going to.

Before you order, make sure that the wiring is connected
3/5

For your information Before you order, make sure that the wiring is connected. Although this was made from the right materials, the mounting hole was different, which made removing the unit harder. The sensor fitted into the hole, but the wiring connection wasn't. I highly recommend double checking your connector so you can plug your part into the new one.
