On a 2004 Electraglide, it supported both the front and rear, so I don't see why not. Plugs into existing Harley cable
Doubt it. "Harley Davidson SDIN for HD Touring 1998-" according to the description. 2013"
I'm not sure I put one in an Electra glide from 2008.
No, I had to run a separate wire from the radio to the harness.

I bought this kit for my 2005 Electra glide, and I have to say, I've installed a lot of stereos, but this is the first time I've had to adjust the radio to fit. Dremeling down to the proper size took about an hour (I took my time). It took a lot of grinding, grinding, fitting, fitting, fitting until I finally got it. Instead of using the included cage, four screws are used to secure the stereo to the mount. Overall, it's a sturdy piece that, after grinding, matched up nicely.
I purchased this a month ago and am only now getting around to installing it due to the fact that I had to dig out my ASWC-II. 1 for my 2007 Harley-Davidson's steering-wheel controls Davidson Ultra is a high-performance motorcycle. The factory harness adapter should be included in the kit, but it isn't. It's not cool because there's a picture of the missing part but no part. Okay, I'm going to have to spend another 35 dollars and order it from Metra. Ripoff.
The installation of handle bar controls is not complete. It does, however, necessitate the use of a separate module. To finish the installation, I had to go out and buy it. It appeared to be complete from what I read, but for handle bar controls, "it is not. " For the radio and wiring through, it works perfectly.
I purchased this kit and would like to know what I need to use my radio controls on the handlebars with an aftermarket radio that is compatible with this kit.
In my 2005 H-D, I installed a replacement radio. This kit was used to make D Electra Glide. I found the instructions for this and the steering wheel control module that I used in conjunction with it to be a little confusing. It all came together after a lot of reading and a few internet searches. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.
This is ideal for my needs. A "standard" installation was not possible because I'm installing a short chassis single Din radio in a fiberglass batwing fairing. I was able to attach this behind the fairing with short screws, and I'll probably glue it as well. The JVC radio, as others have stated, would not fit without some filing, primarily on the width but also on the height. It took me less than an hour to complete the project.
A single din radio had to be sanded into the opening quite a bit. And I couldn't use the bracket to install it. The wording harness only supports the front speakers in the fairing, but other than that, it's a great product.
Overall, a very good product. My only concern is that it leaves about an 1/8" gap all the way around, allowing water to enter my fairing on my 2011 road glide, which has already resulted in my amp getting wet. If you don't ride in the rain or leave your bike outside in the rain, this is a good product to have.
