In order to rebuild the carburetor in my 86 Chevrolet, I ordered this package. I double checked the model number on the carb with what the kit was for and I was pretty much without a working piece when I received it. It turned out to be more cost-effective to use the original parts and only replace the needle and seat. I then tried to start the car, but it would not even try to start. Also, it turns out to be the wrong needle and seat that is not allowing fuel to flow Need to start all over again and buy a totally different kit to repair it.

The kit you are about to buy is not worth it

ASE certified mechanic with lots of experience building racing engines with this kit leaked from the moment it was put together. I checked gaskets to make sure I didn't tear any and resealed it again to find it leaked even worse. It leaking both times for some reason, so after installing a different kit, I did not have that problem.

Carburetor rebuild kit of good quality. I bought this kit to rebuild my 1985 Corvette carburetor and it worked perfectly. The parts I needed for the job were all on hand.

The closest you can get to OEM! It was about as perfect as you could get for rebuilding carburetors, both because of the packaging and printed instructions from the 1960s

What are your options for rebuilding the accelerator pump? Almost every part of the accelerator pump worked properly, except for the diaphragm

I am not sure if the one in carb was a factory part or an aftermarket component, but the cup could not be changed. In the unlikely event that pump rods were included, I would have sought out a kit with them. The rest of the day went well.
