I was working on a vehicle that was not compatible with it. The 2010 RAV4 is a 4 cylinder model. Despite the gasket fitting perfectly and the filter appearing identical, the single bolt hole on the opposite side of the two holes on the filter appeared to be out of place.

There is no match at all

There is a mismatch between the advertised model and the actual vehicle. It was most annoying that this was discovered at the point of replacement, after draining fluid and finding out the holes on the cog did not align for fastening to the transmission and that the gasket that could be used was far from what had been My recommendation for anyone who wants to buy this for a 2009 Corolla would be to avoid it.

A 2010 Rav4 with a 4 cylinder engine

This part will not fit a 2010 Rav4 with a 4cylinder engine. The filter ended up being thrown away after I tried to install it and a lot of oil got into it. To ensure you get the right part, I suggest you visit your local Toyota dealer.

The bolt pattern of the gasket and the fluid pan should be the same

In my 2010 Toyota Corolla, I compared the gasket to the pan and found that it did not match. That pan was drained and removed so I'm glad I checked before draining.

This gasket is not of good quality

There was a poor quality gasket on top of the pan which ended up tearing once I started tightening it down. The filter also wasn't the right size. To adapt it, I had to make some changes. The box was already taken apart, so I had no option but to get creative.
