By a large margin, it is louder than stock, but it is not in any way as loud as the stock model. In my experience as an older gear head from the 1970s (Plymouth RoadRunner, Dodge Challenger, Ford Boss Mustang, etc, etc), this exhaust fits the bill since it wakes up the abysmal stock exhaust that Ford factories ships with their vehicles.
