My exhaust has been clogging for almost 5 months. I live in the city, I have a heavy foot, and I live in the country. Noise violations have never been an issue. When I leave in the morning for work, I am not liked by my neighbors. This is their problem, not mine.
A kit like this one is available from 2009 to We have 2014 Ford F150s. You have to make adjustments to a pipe after the catalytic converters according to A very good job was done in making it a universal setup. I like the sound a lot. My search has ended. I have found what I wanted.

It's a great exhaust, had it on my truck for a few months now and I am very pleased with it. It's not like I drive where there is salt, but I'm beginning to see some rust on my car. The truck sounds a lot like a mustang GT, not really much performance gains, but that cold start makes it worth it. It's a cool feature on my blacked out truck, I like it. The material is of high quality for that price. I paid about $425 for it when it was on sale. The cons are Despite dropping it from 6 inches and scratching the coating down to the metal, it doesn't seem to be that durable on the tips. Having this kit installed by a muffler shop is necessary, and the pipes have to be welded My clamps are trash, even though I don't know how to decide this. I am driving along after having it installed by my shop, without any welds, when I hit a bump, and the After I weld that sucker on, I immediately take it to the shop. The clamps you use for FlowMaster exhaust should be better if you want people not to weld on the exhaust. My personal opinion is that even if they were using better clamps, they should still weld it to make sure there are no leaks in the exhaust.
I bought the system about 4 months ago and installed it on my 2009 4 door. F150 accompanied by a 6 3v battery. My experiences with this exhaust system have been positive for the last several years. I recommend it to anyone looking for the loudest exhaust kit for a 09-model A total of 14 Ford F150s. The pros are Please note Br>- There are no words to describe how deep and loud my exhaust is. I get compliments on it almost every time. Steel pipes look great (mandrel bent and stainless steel) and the black tips really tie the whole thing together. Please note Br>- Having a 33-foot Nitto trail grappler and always having the radio on while flying does not affect the drone's performance much (given that the noise is cancelled out by the trail grappler and by the radio). Please note Br>- My install was not a problem. I rented a spot at a shop and used the lift and tools there, and with that it only took me a few hours on my own. We were able to install the key pipes, the muffler, and passenger side without any difficulties A little more difficult was the driver's side, but it wasn't bad at all. The cons are Please note Br>- There was a bend in one of the pipe's hangers, which prevented it from fitting properly in the factory mounting. Please note Br>- It ended up looking horrible after everything was installed because the tip on the driver's side extended 4 inches inward. Please note Br>- It looks like the clamps are of high quality, but they are terrible at holding the exhaust in place. The driver-side pipe almost dragged on the ground after being unable to hold it in place. Aside from making the exhaust look strange from the driver's side and the rear, the clamps added to the ungainliness. Due to the clamps looking bad (and the exhaust also appearing that it could be disassembled by any neighborhood kid), the exhaust not evenly distributed on both sides, and a pipe constantly hanging from the driver's side of the car An exhaust shop welded everything for me after I decided to go out and get it done myself. It is highly recommended that you have this system welded together if you decide to purchase it. With the exhaust system being welded, it is the best exhaust system I have owned. Whenever I drive my truck, people stop to look at it and people love it.
All in all, it's not that difficult. There must be 80ft of torque applied to the clamp bolts. Don't waste your time with BS or things won't last. These are not the flange bolts on the front, which are about 25 in number.
0. It's awesome to hear the sound! Despite my disappointment, it was a pleasant experience. It seems to me that Flowmaster did not lie when they claimed this was their most aggressive system. I really like the black paint job on the tips, and they go well with the tips. I received many compliments on it because it was so throaty. Five stars would be nice, but why not? Despite a little confusion in the instructions, this shade tree mechanic managed to complete the project. As a result of my neighbors across the street, I was able to explain why I was laying under my truck, cursing. In an initial fit - There was a clamp with a hanger for the pipe connecting to the muffler that was on the wrong side of the inlet pipe and hole I realized they assumed I was aware that the factory hanger and rubber boot could have been moved so that the too long inlet pipe fit perfectly after I cut a foot off the inlet pipe. Fortunately, the extension pipe that came with the installation (after removing six inches ) was Other than the pre-arranged schedule, there was nothing else to discuss It was too small for the included mounting bolt in the drilled hole on the rear hanger for the driver side. I drilled it out a little and I was back on track. In terms of my purchase, I am not remorseful at all. I may feel the same, but not everyone in my neighborhood does.
The exhaust assembly is very well made and I am very satisfied with it. Installing it was easy, but it would be better if two people did it. This is a very useful feature because you can choose to have the tips going straight out from the rear or 90 degrees. Since they are part of the aggressive series of exhaust systems, they are rather loud. Don't get this if you're looking for added rumble over your stock exhaust. I've gotten almost 2 MPG more than I could get with the stock exhaust and feel a little more torque as well. Approximately 75 mph). While I do not mind it, I can see how it would cause passengers to get irritated. You need to know though that it IS loud, with a deep growl, and I have received a lot of compliments from those who have driven it.
I have found this set up to be ideal, not too noisy but not too annoying either. Rumble is good and solid. It will get cold over cold start-ups, but it will be fine for neighbors.
I had a little trouble getting the tips attached to the exhaust pipe, but it was worth the extra effort. The system performs as expected and looks fantastic!.
It more than met my expectations. Despite being a deep and loud exhaust system, my truck has the loudest exhaust on the street now. The sound of my neighbors waking up in the morning wakes me up. My favorite part of it is the music. I only have one complaint - the exhaust keeps sagging a little on the driver's side. I am hoping that once I weld it, the weight will not come down Excellent product that is well worth the price.
