Installation was performed on a Firebird 400 that was built in 1968. As I do not have headers, I placed new down pipes over the manifolds. A hang-and-bolt system is not what we are talking about. Cuts must be made and measurements must be taken. With a lift, I had convenient access to the hotel. I found this to be very helpful. The quality of this system is overall good. They are good, but the clamps weren't up to par. You're in for a loud ride! I really like the sound that the mufflers produce. Unless you're talking to your car, you won't be able to hold a conversation while the engine runs.
I put this on my 67 Camaro and it fits perfectly. I'm so glad I have my 355 for this! Band clamps would have been a great solution for all connections, but I was only able to use them on the muffler inlets. Includes everything you need to get started. It's a great purchase. I'm very happy with it.
Great product. I would recommend for headers with long tubes. In the case of mid length headers, you need two 90 degree adapters from headers straight down and two 2 inch adapters from headers up. I have requested extensions for five. However, I would still recommend it. It's just a matter of following.
My 1967 Camaro SS 350 is now a '67 Camaro SS 350 and I don't regret installing this kit. The sound is excellent and it tucks away nicely under the car. This book is highly.
I was blown away by the speed of delivery. I have a 74 Nova, and they sound great. I think you made a good choice and spent the money wisely.
My research led me to Amazon because no one beat the price I found there. In terms of the product, there was some cutting and fitting required as it is designed to be a universal system that fits a range of As a whole, it seems to fit well and sounds good.
