Yes. It's very simple to set up.
So far, mine have, with a few testing on the headers that are just a few millimeters off and others that are a few millimeters off. So far, no wire burns, and I've put well over 6,000 miles on them since purchasing and installing 2019 in May.
They'll work on just about any car that has spark plug wires, lol.
They're on my 351 for sure.

I rarely give five stars to anything: They arrived on time, as predicted. They were a perfect fit for my straight wires. They appear to be durable and well-suited to the task at hand. Others have complained about the product burning up, but I believe that is for a different product and application. I bought eight tan/beige high-temperature spark plug wire boots. In a 1997 Chevy 454 motor home, I used them. The previous wires melted and cracked as a result of the extreme heat. The cracked wires were replaced with new wires, and these boots were added. The boots are put on by removing the spark plug wire and slipping the boot on with the ring on the toe-end. I read that many people had problems with the ring, so I put it on the side/bottom/outside/never over the wire. The ring is there to keep the sock from riding up the wire; it never goes over the wire, folks; it's the end, not the beginning of the sock. Do not attempt to install the boot from the distributor/coil/spark side; this product is brilliant and should work flawlessly, despite the fact that it may come into contact with engine parts. Only time will tell if this is true. My other option was to replace my spark plug wires with ceramic and silicone wires, which cost $200 each. These $20 boots, in my opinion, will do the job. In high-temperature environments, the plug wires must be changed frequently. I'm not changing $200 wires as frequently as I should be, but I will replace $55 wires and keep using the boots if they're holding up well.
Wires that have already been crimped. In terms of thermal insulation, it's a good product (my aftermarket turbo pinches the plug wires against the head, causing the wires to fail thermally and mechanically). However, when placed over connectors (I only get the pre-assembled ones), the stitching comes apart very easily. (Not the DIY wires, which have to be assembled). If that's what you've got, be aware that it took me eight of these to put three together for my turbocharged inline four. If you're going to crimp the distributor, make sure it's not too tight. side together yourself, put these on first, and you should be fine. I recommend that the manufacturer adds more stitching or investigates the problem of the stitching coming apart during installation, as throwing away more of these than you can use gets old. Apart from that, it's a good product.
Common HEI plug wires will not fit. These shields are not compatible with standard 8mm wires with 45-degree boots. They'd work on cut-to-fit wires, which they'd install before the boots were put on. A metal ring around the top of the shields closes up the wires, preventing them from going over curved boots like those used with headers. I ripped the shields apart trying to get the expensive wires' boots through, but there was no way. The information provided in the description is inaccurate.
It's a pain to install on 90 or 45 boots, but it's doable, but the stitching on the bottom rips so easily. It's nearly impossible to keep both layers in place once ripped, so you'll either have a single layer, or it'll bunch up and your boot won't fit through, or both. At our home track, we have to use stock 350 exhaust manifolds, which causes temperatures to rise, causing unprotected wires to be burned, spark to be lost, and horsepower to plummet. When you're running Davis UI wires, it quickly adds up when the boots can't withstand the rated heat, let alone half of it.
The product, as well as the price and design, are excellent. To get over the spark plug wires I had, it was a little tight. Should have looked for larger diameter ones, but they do the job. They can also be used to protect other air and coolant lines from intake tubes and other hoses.
They're a lot shorter than my other spark plug wires, which I had no idea about. The wire must pass through a very small hole. It makes it difficult for standard aftermarket plug wires to pass through. The stitching is a little sloppy, but as they say, you get what you pay for. What you pay for is what you get. As you can see from the photos, there is a size difference.
I was working on an old Chevy with rotten heat shields. These are very effective, and the price is reasonable. You can get all of these for less than the cost of one in the store.
The inside diameter of the sleeves I received is not one inch, as stated in the product description. They are in fact. 75 inch. My MSD wires didn't even come close to fitting.
