The product has great abrasion resistance, but overtime, enough friction can rub through your product at a faster rate.
It would be ideal to use this size There's no way I can fill up my fuel tank with that much fuel.
A 3/4" oil line would be appropriate for oil lines with an ID of 5/8". For 3/8" ID oil lines, you may want to use the next size down.
If it is exhaust, you simply wrap it in 2" exhaust wrap and tie it with metal ties.

I really appreciate your help. It IS WORKING. The EJ257 sti I built was powered by this. The problem was that I couldn't fix fuel pressure drop for the life of me, despite trying everything I could think of in addition to As my motor and header were heating up my motor and header fuel lines, I wrapped the sleeves around the 3/8 custom fuel lines. I started having a consistent fuel pressure at 45 psi as soon as the kit was installed. There is a lot of good stuff out there. The only gripe I have is that the material is hard to place in the right place since it sticks to everything, but I would absolutely buy it again.
There are some expensive items in here, but they are worth the cost. My LS2 swapped car has heater hoses, clutch lines, and air conditioning lines that all come just inches from headers. I use this product on them all. It does not melt or smell funny. I am very pleased with their service. Wrapping the ends of the sleeves with friction tape is what they give you. It does tend to unwind over time as the friction tape wears down. Even if I did it over again (or ever had to remove the hoses again)I would still use friction tape, but I would try to find some big heat shrink tubes. By doing so you can slip the tube over the friction tape and shrink it. By doing so, it would be able to keep from unwinding and look cleaner.
My Jeep V8 has headers on it, and I added them to it. Under the hood temperatures have risen significantly, so I decided to use the DEI 0 to reduce the shortening of the spark plug wires' life. Sleeve with a diameter of 625 mm. The plug wire was pulled off, the material was cut about 4" long, and it was wrapped over the wire and popped Four cylinders are enough for this sleeve, so two sleeves would be needed for an eight-cylinder engine.
You can't find stuff like this anywhere else! Fits over the business ends of some prefabbed insulates - highly durable and easy to install The lines are ten per cent stainless steel. It is vital to seal the opening of whatever is being sleeved because the interior is very The fact that the lines near exhaust are protected is a great relief for me.
I cannot remove it from my 5/8 line, because Amazon does not offer a "just send me the part that's missing" feature. I cannot return it without cutting the fuel line I'm trying to protect. The shipment was slated for next day delivery, but it had to wait two days while other shipments were prepared. That's what they often do to me. So I paid twice for the product and paid expedited shipping and had to wait twice for it to be delivered.
The AN fittings had to be removed in order to slide the hose The hose sleeve can be split in half to fit the valve, but that would ruin the integrity of the.
The engine bay looks very good with this addition. Oil lines near turbos can get very hot, but since this one is now protected against the heat, it will be safe!.
This is what I bought to use over an 8-inch hose and it fits over it perfectly, so yeah, it handles the 3/4 well. According to what you are doing, ties are still a good idea. It is only negative that it is expensive for a relatively small piece of art.
