Is it possible to wrap around the aqua hot exhaust pipe on my RV, which can reach 400 degrees Fahrenheit?
That's what I believe. Aluminized sleeving can withstand direct heat up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and radiant heat up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. But it's not meant to be used near a fire.
Is this a good gas line product?
It isn't a flame-resistant material. It's what I used for my spark plug lines.
What is the heat shield sleeve's heat temperature rating?
600 degrees Fahrenheit is written on the label. heat that never stops.

It is easier to install a larger size, and it also provides an Air Gap for added insulation! When I used it on the lines of my Allison 1000 transmission, which pass near my 4" exhaust, the temperature of the transmission dropped by 40 degrees on the highway with no load and no towing

Purchased to cover a customer's 4/0 battery cable on an ambulance rv conversion, installation was a breeze thanks to the velcro, and it's still as tight as new after 5 months of use under the body. This is a less expensive alternative to DEI or other similar products, and it functions properly with almost no heat reaching the cable above the diesel exhaust.

It's a simple way to keep your wires safe

This is an excellent way to keep your wires cool. I've used it to snake winch power cables and undercarriage wire crossovers above exhaust without having to cut connectors off the ends; simply fold and wrap.

I'd recommend getting a diameter larger than you need because it's easy to cut and Velcro around wire looms. It's difficult to work around bends with Velcro, and having more space around the wires wouldn't be a bad thing.
