Wiring protection from heat

The turbo charger runs so hot that the shielding over the wires melted as I ran some running board wiring along the top of the engine compartment. I put this product in and there are no signs of heat damage now.

We'll see how it holds up over time, as it's reasonably priced. br>br>I used it on the vacuum lines that lead to the turbo wastegate. Obviously, this is a hot zone. This, when combined with a high-temperature silicon vacuum hose, should result in a long-lasting setup that protects your ears from damage.
