The part was great

Swapped my old Ford for a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 that needed some repair. It can be a pain to try to get a smooth idle by overlooking a worn IAC. The one in this picture was ordered to replace a much worn original. I had no problems with the bolt on, and the quality control at this company was evidently excellent. A wonderful product at a great price that works exactly as it should.

Things returned to normal after the idle period ended

I had a cool evening last fall when my truck decided to stall out every time I stopped. My wife did a bit of research and suggested an iac valve could have been to blame. The air filter was included in the order as well. My truck idles better than it has in years two days after I took it to the shop. I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD that has a 5 speed manual transmission. Nine L. Have a can of carb cleaner on hand, and spray the area from which you removed the IAC. The packaging should also be coated with silicone grease or something similar.

The price was reasonable. The Dodge Durango we have is a 2000 model. We weren't able to fix the idle issue after the first part. When I first bought it, there was an issue. The company immediately sent a new one to me when I returned it. As soon as I receive the replacement part, I will update this review.

The installers will have a thorax bit during the ten minute installation

For the removal of two screws at the end of installation in 10 minutes, have a thorax bit handy. You will notice the truck will idle funny for several minutes after installing the software, but it will.
