Even with grease on it, the o ring is very tight on the valve. I've tested it, but it works.

Here is the original. The product is as expected in terms of its fit and function. Its mounting tab had been cracked on the original one. In this replacement, a metal bushing is installed in the mounting tab to protect from overtightening, which the original did not have.

When I kept getting a warning light on my dash, I thought the purge valve was malfunctioning. The truth is that it was not. It's kind of cool that the dash light is now on and I can run the car no problem. Lights are a good thing, so more the merrier!.
