While swapping in this part, I had a difficult time because of the old plastic wire harness that refused to come off. After using a screw driver to pry the clip back and some pliers to get a hold of the cable, I was able to remove it. The following tip might be helpful if you want to check if this component is the cause of your check engine light The motor and the part should be left attached, but the parts should be disconnected from the motor and hose. The suction pull is a sign that the part is not working. My verification of the bad part took me a mere 5 minutes, and when I put the new one in, the unit worked as it should. A few days after turning my check engine light on, the light went out. The unit has been in my possession for a couple months and I haven't encountered any problems.
It was exactly what I wanted to replace the original Bosch part # 12610560 in my I cannot start the car anymore because I had the Check engine light code P0442 for a A quick and easy 10 minute installation was required. An extension socket of 10mm is needed to remove the old bolt.
I don't have any check engine lights since installing it. In the 2013 Chevy traverse, it is a perfect fit and easy to replace.
There is no better deal out there for the price. This product installs very quickly and easily on Chevy traverses. Several auto parts stores are asking for up to $55 each For this purge valve, you will need to pay $65 per piece. In order to break even with the local stores, I would have to replace this once every 4 years for the next 4 years.
I had a problem with the Buick not starting after pumping fuel, The parts are way cheaper than at auto parts stores.
This solution is simple and quick to implement. For the 2012 Camaro, it worked as expected.
Despite being the cheapest, I liked it because it was made of high-quality materials. As far as quality was concerned, it held its own with higher priced items. This savings is well worth it.
I am pleased to find that it fits my 2013 Chevy Traverse perfectly. Installing the software was a breeze, and the issue was resolved easily.
