This part is found on a 2003 S10 4cylinder. What is its location?

As part of the emission control system, it is located here.

The part looks like it was made in the U.S. ?

I apologize for my disrespect, but can anyone reply to my question with an appropriate answer? Any part, I think, is made in the USA but I'm not sure what plant produces them.

Added a fix for my P0442 error
5/5

I was actually able to fix my problem with that! A P0442 code had been stuck in my truck for years. After trying everything else, this, coupled with the vent valve, fixed the issue. The problem was with this, and I'm 99% sure that it was this. As a result of all my changes, my truck idled very rough even though I'd changed my plugs, coils, air filter, fuel filter, synthetic oil, new gas caps, etc. Jeez, it runs so smooth now, I was almost ready to change the motor mounts because of how it had been running. This guy also cause my engine to flood with fuel and not start. This would make sense since he sends fuel vapors into my engine to burn off. Too many were going into the engine, causing it not to start. Holy crap, I'm glad I fixed that. Let's move on to A 10mm socket and a 1/4 or 3/8 ratchet will do, although the 1/4 would probably be the most appropriate. An LED flashlight is also recommended. This system is just 3 tethered cables and a bolt on the driver's side of the engine, under the intake. There is a 10mm bolt securing it to the engine. First thing, you need to remove the battery cable this is a potential spark indicator. As you can see, there are 3 connections for this A, B, and C. There is a tiny tab at the end of a clip that needs to be rotated 180° so that the clip can be pulled out. It's actually quite easy. It is very simple to remove connector B, just lift up the tab with your finger and wiggle. It was a bit confusing at first because I had to squeeze the sides of the C connection as well as Like a clock with 4 sides, 12, 3, 6 and 9, you can think of the connector this way. It is necessary to squeeze 3 and 9, or 12 and 6, then pull. On the 10mm bolt you have, I would use a 1/4 ratchet without an extension, since it is easier to handle. From the top, I tackled this. The battery was in close proximity to my engine when I pulled it out, literally sitting on top of my engine. In summary, it is really not difficult at all. You are capable of doing this. Be patient and get comfy. During the project, the Envoy 4 was equipped with a 2004 GMC engine. There are two kinds of.

What tests should be done to determine whether or not this part is broken
5/5

This is what you need to do first. Changing it was the last thing I did. This would have been a good place to start. First I had to get a new gas cap, then I had to change the solenoid in the back by the tank of gas, then I had In a youtube video, someone said you can blow through this part in order to find out if it works. There is supposed to be no air going through it because it is supposed to be "normally closed. ". Trying that, I noticed that there was barely any air leaking through. It was really just the tiniest bit of leakage, and I wasn't too sure if I wanted to stop it. Seeing how little it was, I didn't know what to do. You could have saved yourself time and money by changing this part first, but now that you know, I guess it's a bad part if even a little bit of air goes through it.

After fueling, I was having trouble cranking, so I fixed it
5/5

The first time I start the trailblazer after fueling up at the service station, it runs rough and takes a long time to start. In my son's case the issue was masked by him refusing to start the car and I was forced to order this part. It is very challenging to install on a 2003 Chevy Unfortunately, there is limited access to the fuel line and the front fuel hose connector is very difficult According to what I read, many people fail to release the connector, but I was able to do it after a few tries. The vehicle can now be filled up and starts as good as new.

A perfect match between the part and I found this part to be exactly right
4/5

You had to drive a long distance to get there. The model I have is the Trailblazer 4x4. Initially, it was accessible from the fender well on the driver's side, and I also found it more convenient to remove the send line from the throttle body in order to manipulate the solenoid by giving slack on the hose. As well, when I installed it, I discovered the prongs inside the plug were crooked. This job had to be done twice so that I could remove the part again and straighten it. I'm so angry! Other than that, it fit like a charm and was 100% original equipment.

To better access that clip, I had to remove the bolt from the bracket, which allows the purge valve to be lifted into the air
5/5

It cost only a few cents more to order the ACDelco purge valve than the Dorman & Fitch purge valve It took about 50 miles for the P0442 emission trouble code to vanish after I drove the OEM part There are 75 miles to travel & As a result of my excellent performance, I passed the emissions test. It is important that you take great care not to break the plastic clips on the plastic hose when removing the old canister purge valve. With regard to the clip at the front, I had to remove the bolt from the bracket first so that I could raise the purge valve up so that I could more easily reach it. I'd like to thank Amazon once again for providing me with the 2- day free trial You can get Prime shipping within a day.

I fixed the loose code on the gas cap
5/5

The fact that my problem with the loose gas cap code has been resolved is great. My gas cap broke, so I bought a new one and cleaned up the seal before attempting To move forward, it would have been necessary to replace the vacuum canister, which would likely have cost around This has fixed it for me, so I'm very happy.

It does what it's supposed to
5/5

OEM is similar to that. A valve inside mine had been tripping rapidly, so it was replaced to prevent that from happening again. A new one was purchased since the rest of my system checked out fine. Tapping ceased immediately after the new one was installed.
