Questions & Answers

What does this do for the P0446 code and the P0449? The P0446 is coming up for me. It was a pleasure talking with ?

As a result of codes P0443 and P0444, I ordered this. A circuit for purging the Evap emission system and the A fault has occurred in the evap emission system. Taking your advice fixed the two codes I had, but I was not receiving the P0449 or P0446 like you.

The part addressing PO 442 will it take care of the problem?

The purge canister that was removed and the one on the engine were taken as well.

Fits a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, 5 in. How many v8 z66s are there?

I am afraid that part will not fit your vehicle, but what you need is a Dorman 911-03 A vapor canister purge valve is part number 030

The new AcDelco part is better than the old one
5/5

A little tricky to install, be careful not to break the hard line. The picture shows that the new one should sit precisely where the old one had. In the YouTube video, you'll see that you have to push one side of the white clip into the hard plastic line in order to remove the old one. To replace, you just snap the clip back in with Whenever you replace the old one, be sure to clean up the rubber seal that's on the old one and reinstall it with the.

I also replaced the vent valve as well as this purge valve
5/5

I replaced both this purge valve as well as the vent valve at the same time and all three of those EVAP codes disappeared. P0440, P0442, and P0446 were the three. It's not enough to just buy parts and throw them at your car. Many mechanics say that's not the way to resolve issues. There are most of them that use interactive scan tools that cost about $1000, and then they require expensive updates to ensure the tool works with There is a cheap NPN in my possession Rather than an interactive scan tool, I'd like a mechanic service that takes care of the code rather than a scan tool. I can't afford the high cost for a mechanic service. It was a lucky day for me on this one because I solved the problem by purchasing two parts for around $23. It is not always true that just buying these parts will solve all your electrical problems.
I hope this helps others, just be aware that you may have problems with your electrical harnes.

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe LS 5 and it is in good condition
5/5

As of 1/6/2020, the engine code P0446 (EVAP System Vent Control Circuit) has been repaired As stated below, I purchased the following parts and installed them as follows I. 1. This is ACDelco number The GM 646 Purge Valve for Vapor Canisters is the original equipment part. This is ACDelco number Vapor Canister Vent Valve for Original Equipment

- 1091 GM It is ">" After a drive of about 200 miles

3, I received the same P0446 check engine light code. Item number 215 * The 407 GM original equipment vapor canister.
Item MU1615 is an original equipment GM fuel pump with fuel level sensor and seal with float, float chain, and harness

- It is ">" I cleared the code, I have driven 80 miles, but have not yet received any codes. I drove about 200 miles after installing the ACDelco 214-7418 and the test engine light came back on after using those in order to run the test engine. A 646 AND an ACDelco 214 Currently, 1091 installations are in place. P0446 code is the same. Replaced the gas cap and ordered a new one. In the case of a non-working gas cap, a charcoal canister must be used. I found the installation to be very easy to do. Under the plastic engine cover is a hole above the throttle body at the front of the engine. The ACDelco 214- is now mine A 646 AND an ACDelco 214 A new code P0446 (EVAP System Vent Control Circuit) has been added to the engine code 1091 in an attempt to resolve it. To date, I have installed both items, cleared the engine code, and driven only about 30 miles without the code returning (although I will need to drive the vehicle a lot longer before I can say that it has been fixed for sure). *Note* To remove the plastic line, simply push the plastic slide clip on the hose while bending it downward toward the engine (bending down toward the engine is simply to break the plastic line free before pulling it Once the hose is pulled up, pull up on it. There is a risk of breaking the plastic line clip because it is brittle. In order to remove the line from the plastic tubing, you should only need to push in the plastic slide clip.

It's worth it to read the exact part! The total time is less than 10 minutes
5/5

Get it now! The part I am replacing is from ACDelco and is identical to the one in I had to scan my car because the check engine light was on. This part was mentioned in the code, and I bought a replacement after market part at a parts store. It looked different, but they said it was a direct Wrong was what they did. The ACDelco I found on Amazon took me less than 10 minutes to find. During installation, unplug the battery for 30 minutes so that the code can be cleared. You can turn off the check engine light now! It was the second evap I replaced. The next thing I noticed was the ACDelco valve near the gas tank (from Amazon). I knew that was going to fail!!.

Fixed the fault code PO455, my 2003 Silverado had the fault code PO455
5/5

A simple fix on my 142,000 mile truck since I could tell when I pulled the old seal off the seal was shot, which is probably the cause of the large leak detect fault. The fault used to come on quite often, but now it's From the engine bay, I smelled the smell of gasoline every now and then. This has since been resolved as has the faulty old unit.

I was unable to get it to My ACdelco one is from ACdelco, and the Dorman one is from Dorman
3/5

Before I installed either of them on my truck, I tested both to make sure they would work. The ACDELO one did not hold a vacuum, but the Dorman one did. While I do not feel this from is a low-quality product, I recommend testing it before installing it and buying several.

Easy Install had a leak in the evap system
5/5

It was sadly the old one that had a partially open valve that caused leaks. Obviously did not solve my misfire issue since I have a cam in this engine but the misfire count is much lower than *** If you put your finger over it and it draws down your finger, it's time to get rid of it!.

This item fits 2003 Chevrolet Silverado four-wheel drive models
4/5

Amazon says that this won't fit my 2003 Silverado 4 and I'm not sure why. Replaces the original directly from the factory. I had the exact same number on my truck as it was originally. Replacing my vent solenoid valve will be my next step since it hasn't effectively solved the problem yet.
