As a result of codes P0443 and P0444, I ordered this. A circuit for purging the Evap emission system and the A fault has occurred in the evap emission system. Taking your advice fixed the two codes I had, but I was not receiving the P0449 or P0446 like you.
The purge canister that was removed and the one on the engine were taken as well.
I am afraid that part will not fit your vehicle, but what you need is a Dorman 911-03 A vapor canister purge valve is part number 030

A little tricky to install, be careful not to break the hard line. The picture shows that the new one should sit precisely where the old one had. In the YouTube video, you'll see that you have to push one side of the white clip into the hard plastic line in order to remove the old one. It was sadly the old one that had a partially open valve that caused leaks. Obviously did not solve my misfire issue since I have a cam in this engine but the misfire count is much lower than *** If you put your finger over it and it draws down your finger, it's time to get rid of it!.
Amazon says that this won't fit my 2003 Silverado 4 and I'm not sure why. Replaces the original directly from the factory. I had the exact same number on my truck as it was originally. Replacing my vent solenoid valve will be my next step since it hasn't effectively solved the problem yet.
