Questions & Answers

Is anyone able to locate why this part is missing on a ?

The air intake tube is mounted on top of the engine's intake manifold. The best place to look is in the front part of the intake manifold, where you can't miss it when you take off the plastic top cover. Make sure you check YouTube. There is a video on how to install it. Congratulations! Good luck with your project!

Keeping the vehicle connected did not turn off the check engine light. What does that mean about the part being ?

There is another solenoid and filter within the emission system that are interconnected within the system, so it is probably not possible to summarize the system in simple terms. Check engine lights can be set off by any one of them. In order for my check engine light to go out, all three components had to be replaced

A hose is needed to connect to the ?

There is no way of knowing how large the hose is. Your section may need to be replaced if it is defective. You can either take a section of the defective valve to your local parts store or take the old valve and get the correct diameter and rubber or neoprene hose for the replacement. That's all I have for now.

Is it necessary to have jumper cables for an ?

It is always wise to have roadside service available. Roadside service isn't always fast. Watch this video on how to connect to a vehicle without damaging it

A rough idle resolution for the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox Make an attempt
5/5

I drive a Buying a 2007 Chevy Equinox for $21. 99 is a good deal. Here are the error codes for your car The data has not been My car had codes two or three times, but I thought they cleared, and the engine light went out. The following symptoms may occur in your car A rough idle that occurs intermittently If you fill up with fuel more often Having difficulty starting is more common, but it did struggle to start once with part of the tank empty. Over 3/4 of the tank, the symptoms are predominant. As the problems were caused by fuel tank level changes and temperature changes, which could affect fuel tank vapor pressure, it seemed probable that this part was at fault. I found the installation to be very straightforward. Upon installing the new part, the car started up cleanly. And it seemed to have an improved start. Driving the car also felt a bit smoother, especially when stopping and starting. As of now, this is just day one, so if the problem persists, I will continue to monitor and update the review accordingly. I've posted an update for you on 8/13/18 I have not been able to fix my rough idle problem. I really hate it when that happens. I have no error codes, but I still get a rough idle. At startup and during first drive-in, the drive can take a little longer to turn on at restart, it might take longer. Display an idle or hesitation characteristic of a dead-end Let's stop here. In the meantime, I have my eye on O2 sensors and MAP sensors. My leave will be at 5 p. m. I give this part five stars as it fits An easy to install system It does what it's advertised to do. This is an update as of 8/18/18 I was in San Diego, just drove down there, on August 17. This error code was picked up 3 times Item C0561, which includes Service Stabilitrak and Service Traction Control. Item P044, P1779, and P1779. An issue that has been known for some time. P0404-related errors could result in each of these errors A position error is being reported by the EGR valve. It would have been nice to order an AC Delco EGR, but I can't get it As a result, I purchased a BWD EGR Valve ($70) from O'Reilly and I have driven several short distances and the symptoms have not appeared. It doesn't sound like a clogged manifold or a bad PCM circuit to me. It will be a true test when we drive up to Northern California again. This is an update for the 20th of August On my way to San Diego, I drove twenty miles on the highway. A light came on for the engine, but it went off immediately afterwards. It is solid to be idle at stops. If you accelerate from a stop, you don't have to hesitate. An apparent solution has been found to the issue. The following is an update from the 25th of August A total of 470 miles have just been driven from San Diego to the bay I had no problems with the car. It drove A rough idle, hesitation from a stop, or an engine light should never return.

The P0449 code is associated with the It was my first time having trouble starting my Tahoe for over a decade, and the check engine light continued to illuminate even after I erased There are no electrical connections around this part, so you have to pop the electrical connector off before you remove the plastic cover on your engine
5/5

You need an 8mm socket for removing the plastic cover and the same socket for removing the part. To remove one of the other connectors, all you have to do is push the white ring from the left in and pull it out. There was a tight fit on the screw, but all you need is a 10mm socket with an extension to remove it. I bought the part that matches the part on my Chevy Tahoe 05 from Amazon and it exactly matches the part. As a result, I order all of my parts from Amazon since the prices are the best. Because I am a Prime Member, all my purchases come with free shipping.

All of the repairs were not particularly complicated, and no special tools or equipment were needed
5/5

The system is located in a 2004 Chevrolet Express 3500 passenger van carrying six people. I removed the air filter assembly from the throttle body to gain more room, but I was able to install it from the front even though it was difficult to access the bolt. The entire fix was not terribly complicated and required no My tool of choice was a ratchet, extension, and socket for working on the valve bolt and the bolts that hold the air filter assembly in place. To loosen the clamp holding the air intake hose to the throttle body, you will need a screwdriver. It took a bit over 30 minutes to complete the process. Please be aware As part of the EVAP emissions control system, this device is integral. You should always seek the advice of a professional automotive mechanic if you are uncertain! After fueling, the vehicle was difficult to start immediately following the fill-up. According to my uneducated opinion, this is a result of the solenoid in the original purge valve sticking open, allowing fuel vapors into the intake system prior to starting, resulting in an excessively rich mix that made starting difficult. A light on the engine control module did not come on and there were no code indications. It took no time at all to resolve this issue when the purge valve was replaced with This OEM item.

The Suburban is a 2005 Chevrolet
5/5

Fix it easily by following these steps! During the inspection of my 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, I observed an illuminated engine light. An air conditioning company scanned the suburban and found that the solenoid in the evap vents was to blame. In addition, they said it would cost $125 to change it. My research showed that the parts for this project were fairly cheap, so I decided to build However, the situation was not resolved when I replaced the vent solenoid. The vapor purge valve is credited with being the source of the issue in several reviews. It took less than 5 minutes to replace this part with an 8mm socket. As soon as the vehicle was started, the engine light came The light went out after I drove it for about five miles. Delivered in an original ACDelco package, this product arrived quickly. It is in excellent condition.

Here are some easy steps to fix the check engine light
5/5

It is one of the two usual causes of a Check Engine light with P0449 code or other evap system issues. This is a very common problem over time with any vehicle equipped with an engine that has an Installing this part in my Suburban was easy with a 5 out of This engine has a 3 L displacement - The hole is located directly under the cowl on the top of the motor. It has one 8mm bolt, a vacuum line and a wiring plug. Use the Amazon Garage feature to check that you are getting the right part for your vehicle on the Amazon site. Be sure to save and reuse the little gray silicone piece from the old part.

Taking care of the issue is easy
5/5

Tahoe Z71 2005 An O ring had a problem, which would have probably been resolved by using a new one but I didn't want to gamble so I ordered the OEM part this time.
Note Compared to an aftermarket purge valve, the OEM part will feel looser because the O ring in the OEM part is thinner. So, if you swap an OEM purge valve into an aftermarket port, the OEM part will likely feel looser. The OEM part solved the issue! No more problems after going back to the original!.
