It looks like this will fit a 2001 Chevrolet ?

In addition to the engine oil cooler, there are two more engine oil cooler gaskets for the 2001 Chevy Tahoe. There are two gaskets available for the 3L engine 72435 (1 oval port) and 72462 (dual ports). You would need to match the gasket that comes off your engine and install it accordingly.

What is your experience with this? There are some for sale that have rubber seals, and the one I have is metal. ?

As far as I know, it does not matter what type of gasket you use. As far as I remember, the gasket goes against a smooth surface on both sides.

are you trying to accomplish with this suburban? I have a dual port gasket, but everyone carries a single port, and I have a hard time finding the dual. There is a listing on Amazon which states that this item is ?

You can pick up an oval port gasket that matches your vehicle because they offer two types of it.

As of yet, nothing seems to leak, but time will tell how long that lasts. Featured here is a gasket for the auxiliary engine oil cooler adapter or plug on a 06 Chevrolet Unlike the original gasket that came off it, this gasket is not as thick. In addition, I cannot really tell what the new gasket is made of, but it stopped my oil leak, and it is made by felpro, so they generally know what they are doing when it comes to gaskets. I have used them many times in the past without any problems.

This is a great Felpro product! The whole thing is steel

It's not just a cheap gasket made of paper. As far as the seal is concerned, it is virtually identical to the OEM. As I read all the reviews, I thought it would be a cheap version of The gasket appears to be a rubber gasket but is actually one made of steel with a stamped bevel at the inner end. A little RTV sealant was applied on both sides of the gasket and it was That's a good start.

There's no question! There is no doubt that it's better than OEM if Felpro is the brand

It's a straightforward project. When you remove the bolts from the piston ring, no mysterious parts will appear. Suppose 15 mechanics told you you need a rear main seal, however, there is no oil flowing from the weep holes - If there is no oil in the bellhousing and there is a hole in the starter, then this 15 minute fix could solve the issue.

Everything worked out as expected! The kind of Felpro I used to enjoy back in the day when they were quality is not available these days

For the price, the gasket is a good deal. The product has only been out for a few months, but so far it is holding up well compared to other Fe- products I had problems with the gaskets for Pro products. As time progresses, we will be able to.

Suitable for the job

This is not the original since the original has an extra extended tab, but it does cover the relevant area. I would certainly recommend it. It works great.

The product is not suitable for the Chevrolet SS. There is a bigger opening in SS. This part can be found on eBay. There is no one at Amazon, autozone, o'riley, or rock auto who seems to know what I need.
