When using the pad to seal an oil filter O, a perfect fit is found. No . The 2007 Nissan Altima needs to be directly bolted on. It does not leak if installed correctly. The first day of my life there was no leaking. Although today is still a lot more challenging.
Although various plate adapters claim to work on Hondas, they are too big and narrow, a gap on the OEM small oil filter hardly cuts through the adapters. There was damage to the packaging when the product was brought here. threads with hardware as well as equipment already had plumbers tape on them. It fit properly, but it was battered by the dust. In general I don't care for that much about the appearance of a new item, but if it comes from a company that cares, I expect the appearance of it to be spotless.
