GUARANTEED to be the highest quality control valve on the market! The materials and craftsmanship on our valves are of the highest quality. All valves are put through a series of tests and inspections to ensure that they are of the highest possible quality. Our valves are made in a facility that is ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR COMPRESSOR IN PERSON BEFORE ORDERING THE AC COMPRESSOR WAS PROVIDED BY A VARIETY OF SUPPLIERS! This solenoid is only compatible with Sanden PXE16 PXE14 compressors that are held in place with a snap ring.
Please keep in mind that this is a newer version of the valve, and it may be longer than the one in your compressor. It 100% works with the short style valve .
Audi and Volkswagen vehicles from 2006, such as the Jetta and Golf TDI, are compatible. The failure rate of OEM and other aftermarket brand solenoid is EXTREMELY HIGH! Will result in AC problems that are intermittent or non-existent.
A SNAP RING IS USED TO SECURE THIS VALVE INTO THE COMPRESSOR BODY. Please see our other listing if your valve is held in place by a bolt. Sanden compressors are the only ones that can use this part. Please look through our other listings if your compressor is made by a different company.

All of my A/C issues in my 2012 VW Golf TDi were resolved thanks to this brand and part
5/5

br>br>If the outside ambient temperature was less than about 95 degrees, my A/C worked somewhat (but not well). Any temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit would simply blow warm air. br>br>I installed gauges on the system and was seeing about 55 psi on the low side and 150 psi on the high side. br>br>After replacing the factory (assuming it was) Control Solenoid with the RKX unit, I got 30-45 psi right away. Low side pressure is 32 psi, and the high side pressure is 150 psi. It blows cooler than it ever has, and it blows cold even when it's hot outside. br>br>I did a lot of searching to find the solution, and I read about a lot of people who were having similar problems, though the solution to the problem appears to be largely unknown and misunderstood. br>br>The above-mentioned issues were resolved by using this brand and this part.

15 minutes of waiting for ac was fixed on a 2007 Jetta! Everything appears to be in order
5/5

On my 2007 Jetta, I experienced a 10-minute delay. I'd never worked with air conditioning before, so I decided to get the tools and this valve and give it a shot. The evacuation pump, gauges, and this valve cost around $250. br>br>It's not easy to get this valve out. It had a purpose in there. It was suggested that some pressure be left on the lines to assist in pushing the valve out. I had to pull the old one out with vice grips because the connector had broken off. br>br>It was simple to evacuate and refill. My high side didn't get as high as I expected, but it's still blowing ice cubes, so I'm satisfied.

After having my 2013 VW Jetta's air conditioning vacuumed out at a service shop, I drove the car home and replaced this in my driveway
5/5

I took out the air baffle first, then the retainer clip that held the valve in place. The valve was a little tight at first, but it popped right out after about three minutes of work with a standard screw driver. The new one went right in with a little pressure from my thumb, and I reinstalled the retainer clip and the wire connector before returning the car to the service shop to have the AC recharged. She does an excellent job. It took me less than 20 minutes to replace the valve. Before turning on your air conditioner, make sure it's been vacuumed out and that it's fully charged. To access the compressor and valve, you'll need retainer ring pliers, a regular screwdriver to remove the old valve, and a 25 torx driver to remove the air baffle under the car. The valve, as well as the cost of vacuuming and recharging the air conditioner, came to a total of $101. It's a lot cheaper than replacing the compressor, which would set you back $1300.

In 15 minutes, you'll have your problem solved - When it's 95 degrees outside, it's icy cold! I recently returned to Florida after a cross-country trip
5/5

Just before some record-breaking heat in Portland (117! ), I went on a country road trip with this car. ) and my air conditioning was adequate when running, but only marginally so when sitting in 100-degree heat in New Jersey. The pressures had been around 60 psi on the low end and 150 psi on the high end, which was not particularly high. br>br>I was able to install this in my driveway with the exception of removing the skid plate. I have all of the necessary tools, but once you've removed the snap ring, a prying tool will help you get it out. It's crammed in there like a sardine! The new one slid right in, vacuumed down perfectly, and was fully charged in no time. When it's 90 degrees outside, the air conditioning is so cold that you can't even put your hand in front of the vent. I'll take it even if the pressure is a little lower on the low end. The low point is 45, and the high point is 225. Because pressure was 50/200 after only 340g, the system was not overcharged. br>br>Hopefully this lasts, but it's as simple to replace as it is to make. I'll take this over having to replace the entire compressor any day.

No, ice cold air is superior to OEM air
5/5

This high-quality valve is well worth the extra money. The most difficult part of the job was removing the C clip without sending it into outer space with all the 10mm sockets and other spring clips. br>br>Here's a tip for those of you who have a set of nads and prefer a simpler job, even if it means living dangerously. Maintain a pressure of around 10 psi in the system to aid valve extraction. Don't go crazy thinking that if ten is good, thirty is even better. No, gloves and eye protection are required. Ironically, the sick scumbags who manufacture this refrigerant made sure to include the substance that causes testicular cancer. If you don't already know, this isn't a joke. br>br>I, for one, use an alternative refrigerant due to the 134 causes of nut cancer. Not to mention that I'd rather have flammable than corrosive. Do your research; there is a better refrigerant on the market.

Volkswagen drivers, take note
5/5

It's Possible That You Don't Need a New Compressor! Is it taking a long time for your VW's air conditioning to start up? That is to say, it takes five minutes. It takes ten minutes for the cold air to arrive, but once it does, the air immediately changes from warm to cold? After reading through several vwvortex forums, I discovered that the issue is most likely this control valve. The compressor is turned on by a control valve. The compressor may be fine, the coolant may be fine, but you will not be able to cool if the valve is stuck or defective. My mechanic would have charged me $100 to recharge my air conditioner, but he installed this valve for $150. (which, in any case, necessitates a coolant recharge) So, for an additional $50 in labor and the cost of this part, the problem was resolved. Many VW dealers will only replace the condenser as a whole. a massive and expensive repair Take a look at this.

It did the trick, and the fit is fantastic
5/5

Except that it has an oem feel to it. This is a good one. It fit perfectly in my 2011 Tdi wagon. Compressor Sander px16. After wiggling it with pliers, I drilled a tiny hole in the old plug plastic and levered it out with a small screw driver. It helped push the old out by leaving the smallest pressure in the system just off the "0" on the gauge. And because there was no vacuum to pull moisture in, I quickly installed a new one, vacuumed, and recharged the system. Blows 40 degree air quickly and performs well at all rpms and in temperatures ranging from 85 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. So far, the temperature has been 115 degrees. br>br> I'm hoping this unit will last. . . . and if it only lasts 6 months, I'll just replace it. It was that easy compared to living without air conditioning. . . I'll update my review, good or bad, after a while.
