Before ordering an AC compressor, it is a good idea to physically inspect it. We use several different manufacturers. The solenoid is ONLY compatible with SANDEN COMPRESSOR VAlves PXE16 and PXE13 that are firmly fastened with a bolt!

This is a bit more expensive than some other sellers, but definitely It is important to check if the valve is attached to a bolt or snap ring. I made the mistake of not checking visually and ended up having to reorder the correct part. It took about 15 minutes to install without the need to remove the AC compressor, and you can install it while it is There's a hex bolt holding it in, but if you're going to remove it, make sure to evacuate the refrigerant before removing it to relieve pressure in the lines and wear safety glasses. It shouldn't cost more than $20 to evacuate the system at your local auto or ac repair shop. With this kit I was able to fix the AC on my 07 VW Jetta, now it blows cold air and I don't have to deal with intermittent cooling!.

is for my 2006 Jetta Mk5 TDI. It is better than the synthetic I bought 14 months prior, I should have spent another $20 and gotten it the first time around. It makes the AC much colder and I can use the same 30 lb bottle as before. The gauge is set at a high pressure!.
