Do you think this will work on my 2013 expedition, which has auto climate control, and the blower is stuck at ?

The mod worked on my 2012 F150 Lariat with dual zone climate control. The low setting was also stuck on mine. It took me 10 minutes to swap out and it

Can you tell me how long the warranty is? Despite having bought two of these so far, it has fixed the problem both times, however now it is starting to go out again. ?

What are the reasons it fails? Do any of the terminals seem to be overheating? Otherwise, you're only solving half of the problem since you have to replace both the connector and the cable.

If my 2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost does not have auto climate control or dual climate, is this part still the right one?

This part would need to be installed in my 2015 Expedition, as it does not have Auto Climate Control. In my first attempt to purchase the one mentioned in an earlier answer, I purchased a non-returnable bag I bought the auto climate control harness but it did not fit on the vehicle (it will connect but overheat and do not secure to the As well as buying the one from an aftermarket parts store, I tried to find a refurbished one. The part looks exactly the same as this part, but it did not work at all, as other reviews have noted. In any case, I've ordered this OEM part now and am looking forward to seeing it when it arrives.

My gray blue wire on my harness melted after being exposed to excessive heat. This caused intermittent fan problems that failed to work. Are you blowing through a resistor or blowing through a ?

A simple fix like this is hard to come by

Original part is shown in the photos as A white ordered part is the one in this picture. This is what I see on my 2010 F-350 In a 150 KR equipped with the automatic HVAC, it would either run at full speed or not run at all. I found this site after watching several YouTube videos and performing a few searches on Google. In some parts numbers, it may not be clear what the big differences are - I would guess the power is correlated to the fan size, so a mustang probably has a smaller HVAC fan than an F-150. It has less power than 150, which requires this part. No matter what, order this part. Put the glove box down. Please get your 8mm socket handy. The old part in the hvac blower assembly can be seen right there in front. You need to remove the power harness, unbolt the two 8mm screws, remove the old part, and then reverse the installation process. Using an HVAC system and testing the fan speeds can be double-checked to ensure that the work is correct. It takes 10 minutes to complete.

This 2011 Ford F150 Lariat is available in black or white Be careful not to make the same mistake as me
5/5

In our previous review, we pointed out how critical it would be to avoid the BWD version from O'Reilly. A 2011 F150 Lariat with the auto climate system was fitted with two of them. In the first, speeds 1 through 4 would be available I would like to cut off on 4 and 5 Upon my second attempt, I didn't have any luck running the first one at the speed I wanted I'll cut off at 5 and take a break at 6 All speeds are now working again after the Motocraft part was installed as expected. In my search for a solution, I ran across one of the reviews here. After I tried the O'Reilly after market part, I spent all of Sunday afternoon troubleshooting. I thought I had a loss of ground or some other electrical problem until I read It is great that I did, but I wish it had been found This part should not be replaced with an aftermarket.

Do not attempt to use aftermarket parts on this
5/5

Buy the Motorcraft part. My 2012 Ford F150 FX4 is a 4WD 5. I like it a lot. The temperature can be controlled automatically in a 0L container. It would only run at a low speed when I blew on my blower fan. The program ceased to run if I increased the volume. One blower fan controller was bought from Autozone for $83, and the others from Amazon for $112 and $96 respectively. In exchange for 86, I got 98 from O'Reilly and two from Parker. In one of them they would only run at high speeds, but in the other two it would only be My first attempt was to test them out in parking lots before I left the stores. They worked and I left the stores with what I had purchased. I called the Ford dealer, and they estimated their price at $123 as well. I'm sure the guys at the parts counter thought I was nuts. The price is too high, 00. For $57 on Amazon, I finally purchased the Motorcraft OEM part. A solution has been found to the problem. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. There were no aftermarket parts made in the U. S. It is clear that some aftermarket parts have problems. You can get the Motorcraft OEM part for less money on Amazon. It works and is a genuine OEM part.

This is a 2013 Ford F-150 A 150-gram portion of fish A fix was made for an out-of-date program Set the blower fan motor to a desired speed
5/5

I have a problem I notice that my wife's truck's fan motor always runs when the truck is running, and it has a different speed every time. So you cannot change the speed of the air blowing in the truck cabin, so we have one minute of low speed, another minute of high On the display, the fan speed can be changed by pressing the + or - buttons No changes are made when you press the buttons. This part was made by Duralast, so I went to AutoZone to get it. However, the pins did not quite match up when I put it in. In order to make the pins fit snugly against the edge of one of the housings, I bent/nudged them down just a bit. It was easy to install, and the truck turned on after the connector was inserted. I have no control over the fan speed, and now have no fan speed at all. What if the parts were bad? Replace the original bad part and you can control the blower again. Everything that happened before will repeat itself. Put Duralast back where it belongs. Here is a second part (there may have been a mistake in the first). Complete the installation. Exactly the same thing happened. There is no motor of any kind. Due to the need for air conditioning, install the original bad part. On Amazon, you can find this part. Made in Mexico, it is an original Ford OEM part. It is free to use. I have the pins on the right spots You don't have to bend at all. I checked after 10 minutes and the blower motor and control were functioning as they should. I love it! At Autozone, you can buy a Duralast part for about $75. Amazon had a part for $54 that was OEM, and it worked perfectly.

Lasted for one year before it burned up, just like the one installed by the manufacturer

Lasted for one year before it burned up, just like the one installed by the manufacturer. It has finally dawned on me that the switch isn't turned off. The connection is what makes it work. The contact has been bent and it is working flawlessly now.

The second part you must have on your 2008 Ford Expedition EL
5/5

I have honestly replaced this part on my Expedition maybe 5 times over the lifespan of the car There is no apparent reason for this part to burn out, but you can tell it's needed when the automatic wipers stop working It gets stuck on "auto" with no blower, and the climate control stops working If this is the cause of the problem, it may not be the blower. The knock-out technique has been used by me Since I have started ordering Motorcraft replacement parts, I have gone cheap a couple of times just to test the OEM part. The cheap part never lasts as long as the Motorcraft one. Having replaced both the front and the back units with this part, I now have to replace the back unit as well - It was a different part, but Motorcraft also replaced it. Accessed easily from the upper right corner of the passenger footwell of an Expedition, it is located in the very upper corner of the footwell. That's all right. The bracket is attached to the base by two 8mm screws. Getting your body under the dash is seriously difficult, and it takes a lot of twisting and bending to reach it. But it shouldn't take you more than ten minutes to replace it. Over the past two years, these have generally lasted about 2 months. Before they burn up, they will remain in the atmosphere for years. original OEM product (the one I received), and it is not a knockoff The next time I am in the market for furniture, I will buy again. The reason this part fails on this vehicle isn't clear. However, I have read all over the internet that this is something that is often encountered.

It is broken
3/5

Please note I am changing a 1 star rating to a 3 because I was able to make it work and in the end saved half the price. This is what is described in the description and is what Please note (Condition This is a used item. It will be in its original packaging. *Like new
Item will come with There will be damage to the packaging. wasn't examined before it was sent As luck would have it, I was able to re-enter You can just pry the plastic casing from the original part off if you pry it carefully off. It was half the price and it worked for me yesterday. I would have returned it, but I needed it yesterday, so I made it work. This is very likely a result of the negative terminal heating up on the connector, so you HAVE TO REPLACE BOTH the resistor module and the connector with wires, otherwise you'll experience the same problem in a few weeks or months. Blower motors should be connected to Motorcraft WPT688 Blower Motor Connector*.
