It does not seem that way, because as far as I know there is a need to replace the entire compressor
Currently, there is no way for me to get it to fit my model. In my opinion, it should fit the SV and up, but you would need to take a look at the compressor itself, where you will see this solenoid. The valve is built inside the compressor in the basic models, and it will not work in these. Although it's easy to change, vacuum it, pull the valve out, there will be some resistance, after that it should come out, replace it with a new valve, and re-insert it. I just clocked almost 90,000 miles on my 2014 Nissan Altima. When the car is idling, the air conditioner doesn't work, but when it's moving, it works. An informational meeting was conducted to determine whether this part is the cause of All is well now with the air conditioning. This is a video of It is shown in the video how it can be changed.
Our faulty compressor was fixed before we had to buy a new one.
I was able to work on my 2014 Nissan Altima SV the first time I tried it.
I got a perfect repair for my a/c.
Thanks to this part, I was able to save a lot I had no problems installing my AC, and now I have air conditioning once.
Your RCV can get weak or go bad causing all types of problems with your AC. My 2014 Altima SV showed all of these symptoms and my low side wouldn't come down below 50 psi no matter how much refrigerant or how hot it was. A known issue exists with this valve, but most mechanics will have you replace the whole AC instead of this simple On my vehicle, the valve is clearly accessible from under the car, and I simply drove up on mini ramps and removed it directly with snap ring pliers. You should have evacuated the AC before pulling it out though. Youtube is a good resource for guides on how to do it. After I switched valves and refilled, it was like getting a new car. The air conditioner is almost way too cold now!.
