Questions & Answers

Can I use it with Sanden 1K0 I am 820 Where are you at with 808f?

There is no listing for Sanden, but the name appears there. Working on my FW was fine and I saved several hundred dollars. This is the compressor FW wanted me to switch to.

What kind of fit will this have on a 2008 Beetle?

The process will take place between 2006 and 2008 There are only two engines in the 2014 VW Beetle. The truck has a Sanden ac compressor, and it has a 5 cylinder engine.

What do you think about this fit for ?

The Audi TT, which has a 2. cylinder, is the only car that can utilize it. An air compressor powered by a Sanden engine has a capacity of 5 cylinders

The product is designed to fit a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SE How about 5L?

I was able to fit it into my 2011 VW Jetta SE The Sedan 5 is a 5-door sedan. do not think the wagon is like the others. There's a notch in the plastic part on top of the head, it's very easy to reach.

My 2012 Volkswagen Jetta 2 fits this product
5/5

I had problems with the AC in my 2012 VW Jetta SE so I decided to change this part. I emptied the refrigerant from the system, replaced the two schrader valves on the low and high sides of the system, and replaced the two thermostats. Replacement of high pressure connections under the hood, and the A/C control solenoid It was the hard part for me to remove the ring that's holding the solenoid in place on the condenser with a pair of snap rings pliers) . A vacuum pump was borrowed from AutoZone to remove the air from the air conditioning system. As soon as the vacuum is complete, I refilled the system with R34 (the amount to add depends upon the performance of your vehicle, but do not overdo it). I have now experienced extremely cold air flowing from my AC. The trial has only been going for a couple weeks, but so far everything is going well. There is a chance the A/C Control Solenoid will go out again, but it is nice to know it's a cheap fix when it does. An amateur mechanic would charge significantly more than an experienced professional. This project saved me over $1100 in the long run and took two hours. Be sure to purchase an AC gauge for R34 so that you can ensure your system is not over pressurized, you have a good vacuum system, and get an adequate level of oil. Besides helping you diagnose the issue before you start fixing it, they can also give you some helpful advice.

Nice quality part
5/5

It is an A+. It took me three tries to order this solenoid for my 2013 VW Passat tdi se after I attempted to purchase a cheaper unit here on Amazon. I had no choice but to pay my dealer outrageous amounts of money to fix We owe our thanks to old YouTube and to the gracious people who share their experiences. Upon further investigation, I was able to discover that this was the cause of my AC turning on and off. The stealership is to blame for me not listening to them. There was a 1700 dollar charge for a new compressor, among other unnecessary items. My AC is now working perfectly in sunny and humid Florida! I'll report back in a year or so. The parts cost me $25, the tools cost me $150, and here I am in sunny and humid Florida. It's as big a difference as night and day between this part and the lower-cost one available on amazon. Those that are cheaper leak from the beginning. My system was being charged with refrigerant when a car alarm went off. From the first glance, I could tell this unit was of high quality. Once I put it into the compressor, it snapped in place smoothly and securely. Those of you who do not mind getting their hands dirty and doing a little research in order to fix your own vehicle should consider this part.

I worked with a cold air conditioner
5/5

Installation was fairly straightforward, but removing the old valve was the most challenging part. I left some pressure in the system to assist in making it easier to remove. There were only ten pounds of pressure left in the system when it failed. It shot out the old valve and little oil scared me lol but maybe did help clear out any dirt. I installed the new valve easily and cleaned the bore and then re-charged the system and enjoyed the cool.

It is best to get a high-quality product
3/5

I bought this because of the price and the When I got it, it was nice to see the It fit into the AC compressor just fine. The system is filled with freon and it works. We drove the cart for 20 minutes, then turned it off for 20 minutes, then came back an hour later thinking I could have cold air after all. The box was not ticked today! It seemed there was a problem with the seal and the freon was lost. The Nope was full and sitting at 103 psi on both the high and low sides. The valve had failed and $10 in freon had been lost. It took two weeks to order a RKK valve, but once I put it in and it worked, it has stayed in 2 weeks. We have now been at 106 for the past week, and the better quality one does the job well. You should not waste your money on a cheap one, for you to get it done somewhere else, just buy a quality one.

With just a simple valve, we were able to save hundreds
5/5

I bought this to replace a broken valve on my compressor in my 2012 Volkswagen Because I live in Florida, the AC only worked when I wanted it to and I was very tired of it. With a few quick stops and an emergency evacuation, I was in and out in no time. However, my car's AC was almost cold enough to make me leave. As far as I am concerned, I am satisfied. You can save hundreds of dollars by replacing the valve instead of buying a whole new AC compressor if you own a VW with a variable.

Compared to the stock solenoid, it is a different style
5/5

It is as well-fitting as well as more functional. I am very pleased with how well it worked. For your information I found this one to be compatible even though it looks very different from the solenoid however, after some research, I found it was not the same as the one that was removed. There are numerous good reasons why the new (longer) style is better than the old one. The following image serves as a reference (See attached image for details).

I am working on a 2014 SEL Passat V6 with Sanden FXE16
5/5

It cost $90 USD for the dealer to diagnose the problem and order a new compressor. The local AC shop charged $120 USD for the diagnose and told me that it needed to be replaced with a I told them it would be the solenoid valve, but they did not believe me. As a result, I had this valve installed in a Mexican AC shop where the mechanic drained the gas, switched the valve, vacuumed and re-installed the unit The system was charged back ( for $100). I have had no problems so far with my AC for the last two weeks. You are so right. I love This is a 100% recommended product.

I have no problems with it
5/5

A 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI is fitted with this system. There was a problem with the AC cooling. There was a problem with the compressor at the shop and it was going to cost I took 45 minutes to install the compressor, and I didn't even have to remove it! The A/C Pro recharged it and now it feels much cooler than it has In the Florida heat, my car had become unbearable to commute in, so I had been riding in my wife's. Wisepick, thank you so much for the wise choice.
