It does not matter what the temperature is
I don't agree!
It was, as far as I know. March was the month when my husband passed away. There is no evidence that it was returned by him.
In the picture, the RC27 does not look like that. Unlike plastic, this is made of metal. I am sorry to say I am unable to assist you with your The kit was installed on a 93 Cadillac Deville with a 4 cylinder engine. The V8 engine has a 9 liter capacity. The same cap can be found at a lot of car parts web sites, but this posted the lowest price, and with Prime I got quick delivery at no added charge. After I installed the new 81 Trans Am cap, I had a lot of check engine lights I now realize that they were probably caused by an overheat problem, even though the water temp gauge never went above 220 degrees. As soon as I installed this cap and cycled through the hot and cold processes a few times, the check engine light ceased to illuminate, so the engine is not Despite the high temperature, it didn't blow steam (although it occasionally got hot enough). I purchased my T/A from the factory without air conditioning, so it has the non-functional system The radiator for the air conditioner. In addition to a Vintage Air system, I have added a heat pump The temperature of the water stays at 220 when the cap is off, while with the new cap, and the AC on, I see a very high temperature, yet the check engine light does not turn on. In my opinion, the old cap was not holding pressure, therefore allowing the water in the block to turn to steam, which is not very efficient in transferring heat. With the new cap, the water does not turn to steam, so it is able to carry more heat, which is why the temperature gauge displays a higher reading. In my car, the temperature of the water drops rapidly when the air conditioning is turned off, as there is no flex radiator fan to keep the temperature steady. In place of the OEM cooling system, I will use a polished aluminum Cold Case cooling system. The overheating issue should be resolved with that piece of the.
Buying the cap was the primary step in attempting to narrow down why my mother's 18-year-old son is so strange In the year A coolant leak was evident on the old Buick. I saw no coolant puddles under the car or around the radiator, no other problems with the engine compartment, no smell, no steaming, and no steaming around the radiator. It's a little low in the radiator and coolant recovery tank just because of lack of coolant. The old factory has been removed. The new cap was installed, the radiator was topped off, and the radiator was vented. Coolant has not lost any more coolant since the new cap was installed 3 weeks ago. What did you do to solve the problem? There is still time to find out. The product description on Amazon serves to demonstrate that the cap I received will look exactly like the one pictured. The cap is exactly like the one that was installed by my mom's factory.
I checked everything in my 2002 Impala because I was having a cooling issue The head gasket, hoses, and seals should be replaced. There's no limit to what you can do. It seemed that there was nothing wrong with my car, and I did not know why I was losing fluid, although no leak was evident. Now my fluid levels are perfect and there are no cooling issues. I ordered this cap, put it on and the problem is solved.
The picture I received was exactly like what I received. You have to unscrew the tube thoroughly to get past a stop in the radiator's neck to remove it since it fits tightly. My memory does not recall the RC36 cap being that tight, especially when removing it. I installed this ACDelco part in my '88 S10 and the cooling system pushes as it should, temp stayed stable, and all was well. It replaces a new Motorad cap I bought locally whose pressure would not hold.
I bought one of these for my 1984 Corvette. I had already tried one from an auto supply store, but it wouldn't seal. It fits well, and the arrows match up well with the vent tube on the Delco cap. Excellent product, I would buy it.
When the cap cools down, the metal "cup" that lets coolant return to the radiator does not spring forward as it does on every other cap I have When you shake the cap while holding it right side up, the cap jiggles. Apparently it is true since I compared it with another RC27 cap that behaved the same way. The vehicle has been working fine with this product, so I gave it a 5 star rating.
Generic aftermarket models do not match the fit and function of this product. An auto store had one that I tried and it did not fit right. Don't waste your money on lower quality caps, this is the only way to go. It was an exact fit for my replacement AC Delco OEM radiator I bought. I have a '98 Chevy K1500 Z71 1/2 Ton Silverado truck.
Designed to fit and function perfectly. The Delco brand is much better than the Stant brand that was on my 1990 Chevy truck. I replaced the Stant cap with this Delco cap. You can see that Delco makes better aftermarket parts than other O. has often been found to be the culprit in my cases. Generally, M is a good choice. That's exactly what we did.
