In short, yes. We buy all truck, van, and SUV models between 1998 and today Both the radiator and cap are the same on the 04 model.
My 2003 GMC Sonoma 2 has it working directly on the radiator itself. There is a recovery tank on the radiator, but it is capped by a different style There is no pressure in the recovery tank, but there is in the radiator.

". This was all due to Amazon. The company stated that this radiator cap was compatible with my 1998 Chevrolet These were incorrect and this was in no way related. Thanks to Amazon Prime shipping, we don't have to pay for It turned out that I had to buy it myself from the local auto parts store. Amazon's and Primus' efficiency is the whole point of their service. The car parts I ordered through Amazon for my car weren't what I expected. As I had expected, it was Amazon's fault. I was very disappointed since I always have a good experience with Amazon.
I have never had an item delivered to me so quickly. The order was placed yesterday, and the delivery was made The product is what I ordered, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I had an issue with coolant disappearing from my radiator and air getting trapped in my heater core in my 2004 Blazer. My radiator cap became the cause of the problem after a great deal of time and effort spent trying to figure out what happened. There was an issue in that the coolant flowed into the overflow reservoir, but when it cooled back down, the cap kept it from flowing back into the radiator. No more leaky coolant and no gurgling heater core after replacing the old cap with this one. The hot air blows when you need it.
It's great to have a cap that matches the OEM style. This program gives you a PSI rating as well as the AC Delcos, two things I really appreciate in a product. Style caps come with more affordable aftermarket radiators, and I hate them. A 2001 GMC Jimmy and a 1998 C1500 were replaced with this part.
I like this OEM cap a lot. When i did the intake gaskets on the 4 cylinder with the '02 Sonoma, I kept losing coolant. Neither a leak nor a crack has been detected. Maybe it was evaporating coolant? As a result of this cap, the problem has been fixed. The coolant level no longer needs to be low.
I thought I would try buying a new cap since my old one was hard to put on and take off. I used this cap on a 2002 Chevy S10 and it worked perfectly!.
My truck had a boilover and was giving me trouble. According to some reading I did on the issue, it seemed the radiator cap was most likely to be the problem. It was an exact replacement and I no longer had a boil over I found it to be an exact match I wouldn't trade it for anything This is all there is to it!.
In turn, it caused the heating unit to malfunction. The radiator cap I bought solved a problem I was having and saved me from a big repair bill. It's great to have you back.
