Using 15 psi works great for the GMC Sierra 4 of 2008

The V6 engine is a 3L model. For my 2008 GMC Sierra 4, the product does exactly what it says it will. The V6 engine is a 3L model. The reservoir cap you bought from Amazon Garage will not be suited for the 2008 GMC Sierra 4 since Amazon garage suggests purchasing a cap of 20 psi. The hose carrying coolant from the engine to the radiator popped off in the 3L V6 due to too much pressure in the system. As a result, I ordered the appropriate 15 psi cap and have been trouble free ever.

An idea that was bad and has now Old designs had a center plug that was used to seal the tank and was connected to the cap, so as you unscrewed it, it twisted the plug and it lifted the cap out of the A large number of pulls after each plug removal resulted in the plug breaking off

The way I did it, I went through two caps. It is a new design with the plug sitting loose from the cap, so it only moves into or out of the surge tank when the cap is tightened or loosened, rather than twisting along with it while being tightened or loosened. It works far better this way.

I ordered a replacement cap for my 2011 Silverado, and it is excellent quality. A previous cap broke as a result of the Oring becoming stuck in the A gas station in Grand Rapids sold the item to me, and I received it the next day at my Indiana home. I love it!!.

After all, this is only a coolant cap, so it does what it's supposed to do. I purchased it and it was delivered in a timely manner and fits pretty well like they said it would. My next one will most likely be obtained from here if I ever need another.
