I had no problems installing this product on my 2005 tundra, but when I depressurized my cooling system for the first time, the whole cap fell off. The weak plastic lever is the problem. With just a little use, I could tell that it was on the verge of breaking. It was over the moment I opened it a little more than the bare minimum. This is not a good buy.

The radiator cap should function in the same way.
