I am very impressed by this fuel cap, because it is well made and well designed. It works the way it should. It has a long life and is easy to lock. In the event that you are not familiar with how to install it, have someone else do it. You should remember! It is dangerous for you to work around fuel which is flammable. It was a good purchase for me.
Caps like this are, on average, better quality than DeeZee caps. There are leaks in the DeeZee due to its loose fit. There is no leakage with this one because it fits tightly. The product is excellent.
The cap is stainless steel and can be padlocked for additional security. Featuring the highest quality and heft you usually do not find anymore, these belts are made in Indiana, USA. I will be using these on all my fuel barrels. The seller was also super fast with shipping, and I felt the price was very reasonable considering the.
The software worked perfectly as expected. My auxiliary tank with the cap and base that I had sitting in the garage for several years has been repaired. I replaced the base with the correct size and the cap seems to perform the task as advertised.
It does what it is supposed to do. The leak is said to be caused by them just shutting it off at the first step, but I wonder if it is because they are saying it leaks. There is a first notch that is not fully closed. I am not sure why it is there. You only have to twist it a quarter turn more and no more leaks will occur.
As far as the cap goes, it works for me. However, it did not perform as well as it should have. The cap on my tank won't screw on all the way due to too much pressure built up inside. Therefore, I have to leave it one notch back, and it works perfectly.
On the top of a fuel barrel, it is comparable to a standard fill cap. A non-profit organization A locking device. It has a gasket to keep moisture out, as well as a spring loaded design so that while it vents off pressure, it won't let as much moisture in as one without one. Although the threads are acceptable, they are not the cleanest I have seen, which means you should apply sealant when you install them. This product seems to be reasonable for what it provides.
The vent works great as a transfer tank vent. I filled up my tank to the very top with diesel and the cap would not hold any pressure then I parked on a hill and some leaked out. My tank must not be filled to within an inch of the top from now on. The price is good.
