Replacing the valve is pretty easy and a lot less expensive than having it replaced with a new one

As long as the caps aren't the weak link in the valve, I'd like them more. They are very easy to replace however, and they save a lot of money as opposed to replacing the valve entirely. I would love to buy them if they were available locally or they were sold/shipped on Amazon. To put it another way, the wait right now is.

Before, I bought these caps from a local merchant, but Amazon offered a better price. The caps are a superb fit and I will definitely buy them again. We unfortunately have to expose our systems to the sun for most of the day in Arizona, so they wear out quickly.

The Rainbird cover/cap is mounted on the irrigation system

It is a difficult part to find in an irrigation system. It is part of the Rainbird System, but no one sells just this cap, and it is the part that breaks. It was on Amazon.
I found it there. I purchased the item and it was delivered very quickly and at a reasonable price. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED book.

It is extremely difficult to find this product at any of the "Home Stores". A manifold entire new to me was being offered to me. There was no doubt this was the right fit. As of now, everything is working properly.

Replacement with exact same part

A simple replacement is required. Replaced the old ones with the new ones after unscrewing the old My valves both have leaks now that I've fixed them.
