It was a Check Engine light issue which I fixed

The Dodge Caravan I own is a 2014. On one occasion, the check engine light came on while driving. A mechanic who examined it for me found a generic fuel system leak code when I took it to an auto repair shop. It began by listing all of the parts I would need and all of them were very expensive. Due to my cheapo nature, I decided to try a new gas cap after reading that an improperly sealed gas cap can sometimes cause a check engine light to come on due to On my van, it was exactly the same cap as the original factory cap. The installation process is very straightforward. I was able to lock it tight (my old one wasn't able to do that). I have been driving with the new cap on for couple days now and my check engine light went off and stayed off, and my van drives much better now. It saved me a lot of money to try this cheap fix first instead of buying everything.
