Questions & Answers

Is there a way to convert the bulbs to leds if they come with it?

Yes, both.

In the healight assembly, there is an extra hole. Only the headlight socket is present in my truck. Is there anything I can use to plug the hole?

I'm not sure what you mean by an extra hole because I don't have any. It's not a bad idea to cover if you want to.

Will these work on a Ford F-150 from 2001? 150 xlt?

Yes. In my 2003 F-150, I put the set in. They came in at 150 and were a perfect fit.

Is this applicable to both the driver and the passenger?

It's for the driver's and passenger's headlights and markers, respectively.

It's a nice facelift
5/5

When looking for replacement bulbs, I came across this item. I bought bulbs, then came back and bought this item because I realized the headlamp assemblies had already been "refurbished" twice for fading, and this new assembly looked too good to pass up. I had been correct all along. This item is something I would recommend to anyone who asks. I would also advise against buying new bulbs until you have used the new bulbs that came with the new assemblies (to save money). The two new photos are on the left, with the new assembly on the passenger side and the original on the driver's side. New assemblies are fully installed on the right side of the picture.

Great! To replace my old, yellowed lights, I bought some nice new bright clear lights
5/5

If you're not coordinated and patient, it's not easy to install (I blame Ford design). I am neither of these things. But perseverance paid off, and I was able to get them installed. Cougar led bulbs were used in this project. I'm looking forward to seeing how they fare.

F150 XLT model from the year 2000
5/5

This is stunning! Could I suggest that you look up some instructional videos on YouTube? Also, when installing the headlights, cover the adjusting screws with tubing to help line up the adjusters with the frame holes and lubricate the adjuster pods to make insertion easier. My Ford F-150 was built in 2000. The headlights on the 150 pickup truck have been upgraded, and the road is now well lit! I'm ecstatic about the outcome.

The 1997 Ford F150 is not compatible with this part
3/5

Separate pieces make up the headlights and sidelights. My 1997 Ford F150's headlights fit into the housing. The sidelights are not the same as the originals. Because of several protruding brackets and pegs, none of the holes line up, and they won't fit in the housing at all. Quite a contrast. I thought I could make the holes line up by cutting off the extended parts, so I used a multi-tool to do so. Cut off the parts that prevent the sidelights from fitting even inside the housing with a crafter and a grinder. None of them were aligned. I'm disappointed.

Regrettably, I had no choice but to give it a one-star rating! After colliding with a deer, my husband was unable to drive his truck until his light was replaced
3/5

We ordered the kit, which came with bulbs. Unfortunately, one of the bulb sockets was broken when it arrived in the box. The package arrived in good condition, but the socket was damaged. Because my husband needed his truck for work, we used an old bulb we had on hand. We contacted the dealer and sent them photos, but they refused to replace the bulb unless we returned the entire kit. Bulbs, they claim, are not covered by warranty, and some companies don't even sell bulbs. That's not the point! How difficult would it be to keep a customer by sending a replacement bulb instead of returning the entire kit and shipping a brand new one? Someone isn't thinking about customer satisfaction or cost effectiveness!.

DON'T PASS UP ON THIS OPPORTUNITY! BUYING IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! These lights are too small for the truck, causing halo lighting and not providing enough light to see the road
3/5

They also shined under the truck. That morning, I had my mechanic install the lights, and later that day, I drove to Austin, Texas. Around 5 p. m. , an hour outside of Austin, it began to rain and become dark. I couldn't see the road, so it took me two trips. I drove back to Dallas that night (worked the next day) and had to drive on the service road most of the way, only using the freeway when absolutely necessary. I took the truck back to my mechanic, who tried to place the light to close some of the gap, but it took about 6 hours to get home when it should have taken 3 hours. They are, however, far too small to fit in the shaft. To get back to Austin for Thanksgiving, I had to borrow my sister's car. I now have to replace these lights and purchase them from a Ford authorized dealer or retailer. I DON'T WANT TO DIE, SO THIS WAS A WASTE OF MONEY.

My 2002 Ford F150 Supercrew fx4 was a perfect fit
5/5

These lights were a perfect fit and make my truck look so much better. It took a few minutes on one side due to a pin broken on my truck, but they were worth the wait. Because these were made specifically for my truck, I chose them. If I had known they were so cheap, I would have done it sooner.

Installation time is 30 minutes
5/5

The lamp assemblies are of good quality and come in a neat package. Excellent value for money. br>The only tool needed is a T-shirt. The side marker assembly must be removed using a 20 Torx driver. It is not necessary to use any tools to put the headlamp together. two sliding clips keep it in place. When installing, use a flashlight to help you line everything up. Before removing the old headlamp, remove the side marker assembly and inspect the headlamp alignment clips. Even if you take your time, this will only take you 30 minutes.
