Assault Racing Products 4522216 16" Electric Fan Shroud for 19"x22" Overall Crossflow Radiator

Our measurements are off by a long shot. I was around 18 when I had mine. A 3 inch width by 16 inch length kit (I ordered the 22 inch for my 67 Ford Mustang 302) in chrome. The height of the person is 5in. It seems to be solid, but the measurements are so off that I do not know whether it will be 24 in or 26 in, so I am hesitant to reorder it with a different size. I would say that it is about a half inch thick. The 2 stars are a result of the fact that it arrived a day early than expected. My experience does not allow me to give it a review on functionality since my download did not fit.

The Fan Shroud has been reviewed by others who say it is small and am purchasing size 31 because of it. Based on my examination of the Size 31 Shroud, my radiator, and the Amazon website, I learned the Size 31 is a diagonal measurement, like the ones used to measure TVs. By measuring my radiator diagonally, I determined I need a Size 28 radiator.

It seems to be of good quality material and workmanship. Product came with a protective cover to prevent scratches during installation and shipment.

A few minor modifications are needed to fit the 63' Riviera radiator. As far as I am concerned, this worked beautifully There were flanges at the top and bottom that I had to cut off. Also, I took off 1/4" of the bottom (took the lip off). A set of small L brackets and self-drilling screws were used to mount the shroud to the radiator. It works perfectly, doesn't clatter or rattle, and looks great. Whenever cutting this fabric, you should be careful as it stains and scuffs easily. The same way a stainless refrigerator looks.

Awesome quality for the price. There's nothing I dislike about it because of its design and the ease with which you can use it. It would have been a good idea to take this route when installing It has always been a pleasure dealing with Assault products.
